A $10 wager on Oberholser would return your betting stake and a $17.50 profit if Oberholser has the outright low score. If Oberholser ties Leonard for low score, "dead heat" rules apply, and you win 1/2 your bet and lose 1/2 your bet, so the total return would be $5 (1/2 stake) + $8.75 (1/2 win) = $13.75, or a profit of $3.75. If all 3 golfers tie, your return on Oberholser would be $3.33 (1/3) + $5.83 (1/3) = $9.16, or a loss of $0.84.
5dimes will convert a 3 Ball into a traditional "matchup style" wager:

In a 5dimes style matchup, a tie between Oberholser (or Sluman) and Leonard is graded as a push and you get your stake back.
