Hey guys, I am fairly new to the board but have been reading for years. Just wanted to share a few thoughts regarding this game. Keep in mind I am a die hard Niner fan lol

I just believe that I have read so many things this year regarding them having to travel East and this game is a bad spot, and they are on a short week.. blah blah blah.. Other then the Baltimore game which was a horrific spot, in which a few awful calls including Gores phantom chop block on a 75 yard TD pass cost them, this team has shown up for the most part. I don't believe Harbaugh lets his team come in un-prepared and adding Mcidiots little rant about beating the hell outta us... well I just gotta say bring it on... That defense is special and people are finally starting to believe... I would just be a little hesitant to go against this team...

GL to everyone and have a safe and wonderful holiday and thank you to all the work you guys do

Thanks for thoughts:toast:

My thoughts are sf is worse than their record, and is playing on very short rest off of their GOY against a team which is better than their 7-7 record and happens to play very well home. I'll be on sea, and will play the home team in this scenario every time I run across it, particularly when then the road team has difficulty making plays in the passing game with consistency.

Cheers:toast:

Just out of curiosity.. Why do you think they are worse than their record.. They have a defense which is breaking records... They make every team one dimensional because you cannot run on them at all.. Best punter in the league makes you have to drive 80-90 yards each drive to get in the endzone and when you cant run it, its not easy to sustain 10+ play drives against that type of D.. yes the offense isnt a high powered machine, but they can run it, and they just try to control the ball and limit your possessions.. And with Akers basically capable of hitting it anywhere in the stadium it gives us a huge advantage.. It isnt a typical recipe for success in the NFL now, but Tampa and Baltimore have proven it can work...

I think the Niners know they can knock the Seahags out of the playoffs with a win here as well.. Something everyone is forgetting is how Harbaugh and Carroll have a history.. If you dont think Harbaugh would love to knock out Carroll and do it by as many points as possible you are sorely mistaken!!!
And I hate Seattle!! hahah

San Fran has been playing great defense. No doubt about that. The offense is terrible though. Seattle can score TDs and play a little defense themselves. And the short rest is what I think everyone is looking at for the Niners defense.

The Niners may start off great, but the defense will wear down after the offense sputters.

Just my two cents.

Today is the day that the Niners finally allow a rushing touchdown. Marshawn will find the endzone and snap that solid Niners streak.

I'm not touching the game so I'm not saying the Hawks will win but I believe Seattle has a great opportunity to prove that they're really not as bad as people think they are. This Niners/Hawks game reminds me of the Saints/Hawks situational playoff game last season.

My two pennies.

Well unfortunately Lynch broke both Niners defensive streaks.. As a fan I took such pride in watching this unit take pride in this streaks.. I wish we could put an asterisk next to it because P-Willy was on the sideline when it was snapped...But I guess more importantly we continued another streak.. Another week of getting to hear "experts" tell everyone why we still aren't that good... If people don't think we can give every team in the league a great game.. You don't know football.... They just find a way to win!!

WHOSE GOT IT BETTER THAN US??!!?!?

NOOOOOOOBODYYYY!!!!!!

i LOVE THIS TEAM

I'm not looking to be disrespectful or insult anyone... I'm just a die hard Niners fan that's been through 8 years of misery and very excited about this surprising season... Football is as week to week as you can get and I understand that more than anyone.. but I'm.sure anyone who is a true fan can attest.. it gets a little frustrating hearing your team is "not as good as their record" etc etc... Were going to be 13-3 and the 2 seed in the NFC god willing, and well see divisional weekend if they are ready for the playoffs...

Well I live in New York and deal with Jet and Giant fans on a daily basis and I cant imagine anything being worse than a Yankee/Giant or Yankee/Jet fan... But I guess discussing your opinions on here are met with sarcasm and hatred... I guess i could say the Packers are the worst defensive 13-1 team in NFL history.. But Im not here trying to get into a pissing match with people..I just realized why I don't post on forums.. Short lived stay here for me... Enjoy your holidays
