only allows max bets of $500 each.
so much for wanting to wager 5K!

after you place your first $500 bet, they often don't let you bet into that game anymore, or they often change the odds/line against you when you try to add to your bet.

that's why I personally feel that Pinnacle is the best, as they are fair and cater to sharps and everyone else, without trying to screw you.

Was there any point in this post other than you wanting to let everyone know you are betting 5k on a game?

Me thinks not

no way....I can't afford to bet 5K on a game. I've only done that three times in my life (1-2 record)

I just wanted to inform people that if you want to play more than $500 on a game, you might have to bet into a different line or different odds for each $500 bet.

5 dimes makes it sound like you can just drop anywhere up to $5000 on a game..no hassles or questions asked. However, as I learned, that is truly not the case.
It's a hassle, that's all...and notwhat they really advertise.

Saint..if you think I am bragging, then you obviously don't know me. I am "small-time", but occasionally like to "step-out" on game that I really like. I am not a sharp, nor am I a square. And I don't need to show-off. I'm not that good a handicapper, and I don't have the funds to repeatedly drop 5k a game.
I was just stating a fact to help others on here, when choosing a sportsbook.

OK
True $500 limit on internet bets and then they will move the line 1/2 on you. I quess you can bet a game 10x on the internet for the $5k limit. You can call them direct for a larger bet than the $500. I have had good luck with customer service and many times I get a better number with them. The site is slow for me during busy times so I mostly use it during slow periods. turk
