i am in the process of sending fund offshore to get ready for the football season.

so far i have funded accounts with betjamaica & bookmaker without any problems. i am looking for 3 more solid books.....

my preference to fund my accounts are by either cashiers check via fed ex (my favorite) or bank wire.

i called 5 dimes up & because i haven't used them in a few years the girl told me that the only methods that i can use are either western union or moneygram (don't know what that is but will learn about it)then once i re-establish myself again with them i can use a bank wire. i told the girl that i didn't understand the logic of me not being able to fund my account now with a bank wire because the funds are coming directly from my bank account...the girl didn't have an answer for me.

i have always heard glowing reports about 5 dimes but i am not too impressed with what was just told to me.

so i guess i will have to cross them off my list & look for 3 different books.

i just registered with legendz & received an e-mail concering cashier checks that are sent via fed ex.here are their instructions....

"Once we receive the check, we will credit half of your deposit amount to the betting account. No withdrawals can be made until the check clears. The reminder of the deposit amount will be credited into your account within 30 business day which the estimated clearence period. If youare entitle to any bonuses it also credit at that moment".

they got to be kidding !!

they are getting a cashiers check from a bank..the money should be treated like cash...

another book that bites the dust for me...

AR......I would just ask for a manager at 5dimes...that doesn't make sense about the bank wire:shrug: My opinion 5dimes is best sportsbook on the planet, easily #1. I can't say enough positives about that site. And by the way I receive payouts and do deposits by Western Union, not a big deal at all. Will take you all of an hour to go to the nearest location and send the money. And same for moneygram, really easy. If I were you I just do that. Plus you will most likely receive a very nice bonus for your deposit. And no their bonuses aren't like some other books, none of that 985 rollover and can only withdraw on Thursdays at 4am:mj07:

And 5dimes will pay ya within hours by Western Union, you can't beat that:scared

Oh.....and....."Once we receive the check, we will credit half of your deposit amount to the betting account. No withdrawals can be made until the check clears. The reminder of the deposit amount will be credited into your account within 30 business day which the estimated clearence period. If you are entitle to any bonuses it also credit at that moment".

I was eating when I read that and almost choked when I read that.....that's some funny stuff:mj07:

Last I heard, 5 Dimes still owed many people. I could not make a withdrawal and had to play my money out of there (this was early this year). I haven't heard one thing since then that they are paying.

5dimes not paying:scared

I find that very very hard to believe....but ummm I suppose that is possible:shrug: I know that within last 5 years I have never ever had a problem with a deposit or a withdrawl!

And AR.....maybe in the States they do ask for Social Sec. Number, here in Canada they don't ask for that stuff. Maybe it is different in the US:shrug:

Sucks to be in the US......make things tough don't they:nono:

AR,

I was working on something else that was related and totally botched this one. I truly apologize. No problems with 5Dimes.

Jack/IE,

I apologize for making such a stupid mistake. I confused two books.

5Dimes is a good out as far as I am concerned. I have never had a problem with them.

I am truly sorry.

That makes me feel better homedog, I was shocked when I read what you said......phew:scared

And AR........I forgot you were in the States, I guess rules are a little different if you are in the US. I can tell you that MoneyGram and WU don't need much ID when ya send money, but as I said maybe some Americans on here can let you know what I.D. is needed to send money:SIB

Guess I am old school......every sportsbook I have ever used I almost always send and receive money by Western Union. But maybe it is easier here in Canada. If I was in the US I don't know what I'd do:shrug:

I can tell ya this though, you won't be upset with 5dimes. Good luck whatever you decide.

Also, there is another book that I'd recommend, but they don't take US customers...sorry I just had to add that in:142smilie

no problem homedog....i tend to do other things also when i post....no harm done.

I have never had to give my SSN for any WU withdrawal. I have done withdrawals up to 2500 with just my drivers license.

i
imoneygram (don't know what that is but will learn about it)

Moneygram is a piece of cake - the only downside is that you've got to go into Walmart.

No SS#, but they will ask for name, address, phone #, they will keep a record of your transaction and there is a small leap of faith required in the process.
