Already posted 3 of my 5 dog picks...but here they are again
Tampa + 2 1/2 and ML...Tampa easily wins the line of scrimmage on both sides...Ryan is a sitting duck...Bucs have a statement game..earlier prediction was 21-20 Bucs...modified pick is 27 to 17 Bucs...don't think this game is close.
Detroit + 3 and ML...got this at +4.5 earlier so the money coming in on Lions..but rightfully so...just like the game above, Detroit should win the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball...Detroit wins this one 30-20.
Skins + 3 and ML...Skins offence passing can be elite against a suspect Pitt secondary...Skins D better this year...Skins win 34=30
Bears +4 1/2 and ML...Not sold on Oswieler (sp?)...thought he was pretty average in Denver...so not as big an upgrade as some folks think in that position...Cutler played better last year...less of a gunslinger...he's the better QB i thin one...Bears surprise with a 23-20 win on the road
Chargers +7...think the Chiefs are being overrated and the Chargers underrated....Chiefs still don't score that much...they haven't upgraded on Offense to make that change IMO....so Chiefs are good for 20-24 points...Rivers can account for 20 points on his own sometimes...he should be fresh and not dinged up like he was at the end of last year..Chargers will keep this one close...24-23 or something like that.
Rams - 2 1/2 Kelly and crew are in for a long season...Rams underachieve every year IMO but don't think they under achieve in this one...49ers are bad...Rams are OK...Rams 31 49ers 10 .
Now the favs
1) Minn =3...Minn has dominate line play and a really good D...Tenn could get manhandled...Bridgewater was a "game manager" IMO...so Shawn Hill can't be the same today? Minn should win this game by 10 with maybe a D score mised in...Minn 31 Tenn 17.
2) Bengals -1...Bengals still an elite team ...they self imploded last year in the playoffs and think that gets them refocused this year...Jets have a decent set of wide receivers but don't think Fitzpatrick will have any time to find them...Bengals 24 Jets 10.
3) Eagles - 3 1/2...RG 3 vs Wentz...both are big question marks...might come down to who turns the ball over more between these two...but like all the other games noted above, Eagles are superior in the other facets of the game...think RG will be running for his life today...Eagles get off to the right start for their new coach..Eagles 27 Browns 17.
