Was wondering if anyone has tried those expensive little 5-hour energy "drink" containers? Do they really give you a boost for an extended period of time? I am pretty impervious to caffeine for the most part these days - drink plenty of coffee and pepsi, so I could see something like this that supposedly doesn't make you crash after being a nice option at times. Of course I'm skeptical, but seems to be a pretty prevalent product these days. Any first hand reports?

hmm, conflicting reports, to say the least. Although, I'd guess Ray, you are a bit more excitable than Jack...

I have used them on long trips when traveling and it helps. I like it better than the rockstar/red bull energy drinks.

but then you have agent who says :nono:

Look at the stud athletes endorsing them.

OSI "Injured Reserve" Umenursofidale

Braylon " 1 catch -15 yards, and some drops" Edwards.

Nice.

I had one about a year and a half ago and came away with a migrane a few hours later. This is from someone who drinks Redbull/Rockstar a few times a week, every week.

I've used them in Vegas the last few trips. They have worked just fine.

If you want to get something more powerful that is over the counter look into Nitric Oxcide preworkout products. They have a few more possible side effects but work 1000 times better.

Use at your own risk but I've tried them all. After taking Superpump 250 for instance I can lift weights very intensely for 90 minutes and still feel like I could run a marathon. I'm still wound up when I get home from the gym.

The stuff is a little on the shady side but placebo or not it works for me. It is a lot cheaper per dose as well.

I think I paid about $45 bucks for my Superpump 250. Depending how many scoops you like to use there are about 30-40 servings in there.

I know this is off topic but when we use these products our lifts all go up a lot. I mainly use it on bench day when I'm going heavy or if I'm not really motivated to do cardio.

Again, this could all be placebo affect but either way it works for me.
