eastern is a decent team with a great player in domercant. it is hard to blow a team out with a great scorer. hawaii has only played 3 teams this year...and is still adjusting to losing 3 senior leaders from last year. take the points.
new orleans -4
surprisingly one of the hottest teams in the nation....won last 10 of 12 last year and 6 of first 8 this year. that makes em 16-4 last 20 and have all 5 starters returning. this is a neutral site game....so it isnt like they are going into anyones house here. i really think they take care of business tonight
la lafeyette -4
detroit has lost a lot of firepower from last year and are progressively losing that fire they have had the last decade. lafayette is a good team as they went into miss st and won by 3 this year. last years team was very good on defense and this years team is no different. another neutral site tourney game....look for the more talented team to win this one.

i know this usually isnt a good reason to make a wager...but xavier seems to have trouble scoring lots of points. when they played miami, oh...they didnt have the firepower to cover a spread like this. ball st even without theron smith can cover this spread.
dayton -4.5
i hate playing against a home dog...but dayton has been neaten in this spot twice already this season in similar line situations...OD is not as talented as Miami, oh or St Louis...which are the other teams that dayton has failed in this spot against. i look for dayton to break out of their road slump with a big win.
