Let me first say 5dimes is my favorite book and I have played there for many years making many deposits and with drawls. I have never had a bad experience with them until last night.
I was tied for the lead in the $10 office pool with 3 others, had a perfect sheet. We all picked the Saints last night and entered our tiebreakers. My score was 51, the others were 48, 50 and 52 so basically I needed to hit it exact or I had no chance. One person with 12 correct picks had the Lions. I went on live chat to see what would happen if the Lions won, creating a 5 way tie. Long story short I was told that if the Lions won it would cancel the tiebreak scores and force a 5 way split. After finding this out I went in and placed a Saints ml bet to win $100, basically guaranteeing some profit knowing my chances of hitting exactly 51 weren't great. Figure the Lions win I split $1240 5 ways, Saints win I win $100, Saints win and 51 pts I win the $1240 and the $100.
Well the Lions win and the closest to the score even though the pick was wrong ends up winning the pool. So because I was given false info by a customer service rep I lose my ml bet and the pickem pool. Had I not been given this bad info I woulda never bet the game the way I did. I asked for a refund on the Saints ML bet due to the false info I was provided and was denied. Lets just say good customer service these days is hard to find.
