Urben Meyers reportedly stated publicly that he would take the reigns at Penn State if Joe Pa went out on his own terms.

Urben Meyer recently purchased property four miles from Penn State facility.

If it's true I think it's a good move for him. Even with the things going on it's a monster program and a great recruiting state that he would own all by himself, no Miami or Fla State to go up against for in state recruits.

i guess he's a bigger "name" than we could expect to get and had more "success" than any recent hire but i'd prefer an up and coming young coach from a mid major (ala sumlin from houston)

I was just referring to all O and no D. As for the comparison to Mackovic I guess time will tell. Arizona isnt as high profile as Michigan with the same pressures so maybe he can relax and fit in. :shrug:
