Rat farts!
I was on fire going into Thursday, may have gotten a little overconfident and pushed a couple this week as I originaly wrote the Rahman and Harrison fights off as no-plays. Good thing my boy MF popped in (after a loss as usual) and reminded me to stay sharp. Sure didn't see him in my thread the last two weeks when I was on a 6-0 run. Nor did he show up 3 weeks ago after calling me out on 3 fights in which I went 2-1.

You're a real class act MF, and thats why you are my grindstone.

Fight is still on the board...

Laying 2.65 to make 1.25 on the Barrera over
(line movement is factored in)

Laying .1 to make 2.3 on the draw (+2300 5dimes)

Note
Loss on draw play will count against totals for year,
but won't be counted as a loss in the dog catagory.

Damn, you sure are bitter. The guy asked if the fight happened and I gave the result. Had he asked for the result and it had been Harrison or Abelyan by dec, I would have said that also. You act like I was criticizing your losing picks which I clearly did not. For whatever it's worth I didn't like your Harrison over pick. I had bet under the first time it was listed and got cancelled. The odds weren't as appealing when it was put back up so I didn't bet it at all. I liked your MAB-Ayala over pick. The juice was a bit high but on paper it looked like a good pick. Unfortunantely, Ayala is shot and on paper don't show that.

Give me one reason not to be bitter towards you, all you have done since you started posting here is question my plays. Hell you even called me out on a +240 dog that your boy Joey liked also.

I didn't see your last reply (before you backed out of it) so I can't respond to it. But I'm sure it was just more disrespectful BS and I don't have time for that anyway.

I like how you always say "on paper" like I haven't seen 80% of the fights televised in America in last 10 years, including the Morales-Ayala fight which was only 1.5 years ago. I have seen Barrera and Ayala fight several times and knew they were both as tough as it gets. IMO Morales is a more accurate and harder puncher than Barrera and Ayala never even hit the canvas it that fight.

Most people thought Barrera was shot going into this fight not Ayala.

In retrospect I still think I was on the right side, but Barrera was determined to make a statement in this fight and caught Ayala with some very hard, well placed body shots in the mid rounds that Ayala never recovered from. Thats how it goes, even the most solid picks lose sometimes. And just because I use stats and numbers in my explanations doesn't mean I haven't seen examples each.

Untill you show me some respect, I won't be showing you any.

Btw, you said before that you couldn't post plays per an agreement with Joey, but Joey doesn't work for Oly anymore so whats you're excuse now?

I am glad you want to bring up the Guzman fight. Joey and I did disagree on that fight. If you really want to know the truth he started Guzman at -120 (which I bet), then I told him he would be wise to move it up a good bit (and he did). I guess that pretty much shows why I disagreed with your Guzman pick.

Disagreeing with someone isn't the same as disrespect. I have never said anything disrespectfull towards you. Not that it matters. I don't care if a namesless, faceless person is disrespectfull towards me or not. Go ahead if you want but my opinion will still be around.

Not sure why your ranting about MAB-Ayala. I SAID I AGREED WITH YOUR PICK!! It seemed like a distance fight. You say that a lot of people thought MAB was done, well a lot of people who saw Ayala struggle with a bum in his last fight thought the same about him. Regardless, he has always shown to take a great punch (both of them have).

Lastly, I won't ever post picks as long as Joey is a bookmaker....ANYWHERE. What sense does that make. He runs the numbers by me, I give him an opinion 1 way or another. Now, if I am posting picks and posted Guzman -120, when the lowest anyone can find is -185 how much grief would I take for that?? Or Ikeke last year I got at +550 (against Kenny Ellis), I guarantee nobody else did because he dropped the number a lot, very quickly. Joey is a VERY good bookmaker but he is human and will make a slip up now and then. Not to say that I am perfect ( I am not), but I help him when I see something that looks off.
