On the course!
Okay.

I see a lot of jokes, and pix, and emails that people post here, and I got to thinking:

"If you see an email posted someplace, and you have received tha same email (of sorts) recently, can you assume you have a conection with the person who made the post?"

I don't know if that makes much sense, but I would like some feedback.

I think I understand what you are saying. The title of this thread probably says it all.Maybe people know the same people,or work with people who know the same people,or because the e-mail message is so good that it keeps getting passed around.

If you have an e-mail similar to what somebody on this site you should mention it.It would be a good way to see if there is a 6 degrees of seperation. It may be fun tracking it.

My mom sends me things from an email list she is on, and I get many of the same things from a list of my father-in-law and another from a friend in Kansas. I sometimes get the same thing 3 times. It's ironic how u know people who know other people etc.

Dogs that Bark lives in the same city I do about 2 miles from my house. However, I never knew him until we connected on the internet. I was posting plays at a website (and I had a great year, lol), and he emailed the site owner saying he would like to send me a Kentucky country ham as a token of thanks and could he get my email address. I said ok and emailed him mentioning that I too lived in Ky. in Bowling Green, and I asked him where he lived in Kentucky. Low and behold, he lives in Bowling Green, lmao! That sort of wigged us both out. We met shortly thereafter, played a round of golf, and I consider him now to be one of my better friends. Amazing how things work out! Live 2 miles from somebody yet meet them on the internet.

I thought you were referring to the "shitter" joke, that is why I responded to you.
I knew that my wife's friend must have gotten the story from someone else. She is not that witty to think of it herself.
Now I see that djv received it also.I wonder how this could be traced without going down the lne asking everyone where they got the story?
