I just spoke on the phone with a friend that was a 'linemaker' in Las Vegas for years .He lived in Henderson when it was small.
I got talking about 6 point Teasers and he was saying that people that know 'how to play them' on a regular basis, have a Huge advantage. He said his 'offshofe' did an indepth study in 1998 and came up with some eyeopening results..
On 6 point Teasers,he said that teams that are a 2 to 7 point favorite have GREAT results of cover "both" ways. They came up with math figures that show that instead of getting EVEN MONEY on these plays, they are actually -$140 plays.I think if someone had the hours to study this we could prove this out.Bye the way ,Scott has NO reason to lie to me,I have known him quite a long time.
Check it out and good luck to all. I would love some input on this one...Spanky...

Anybody play Teasers or just stick to BASIS side and the very odd total.Talked to some people, they don't even know what a Teaser is or their so-called 'book' does'nt take them.
Strange stuff to me.I thought most players knew about Teasers and all offshores will take them every time.

I don't care what anybody says, 6 points in the NFL makes all the difference in the world
and yes I am in the positive in the NFL
because of them...in fact it is the only
way I go in the pro's...but you have to be
conservative and not try to win the big one..
by that I mean 7 or 8 teamers...the real
value is over in the hoops with a handful of
guys who really know what they're doing...

Look at how many games are decided by a touchdown or less in the pros. I believe they are a good bet in the pros but not as good in college. If you are going to give me 6 points, more times than not they will cover. The only disadvantage is you have to hit two games per bet.

This is why we play 'both ways'on EACH game..EG. New England+2 or the other way Cleveland +12.St.LOIUS-1/2 and San Fran. +13 1/2 or N.Y.G.+3 1/2and Dallas +9 1/2,ETC.ETC.ETC.
YOU Don't key one team, you mix and match-maybe 12 to 15 Teasers (OR MORE).You cannot lose if you do this PROPERLY,by mixing them up. IT does take time and I have done for quit a while.PLAIN and simple it works. If you 'boxed 2 teams on the 'hi and'low'ends of the Teasers, they pay EVEN MONEY so you try to get the middle of these games.
Anybody will tell you this has been a great YEAR for playing Teasers as SO many games would have been and HAVE been perfect.

I suggest you try it, I know it is a money maker, and the guys that say they suck DO NOT know how to bet them PROPERLY ,and that is VERY<VERY important. So ,do the work ,it is't that hard, you will get the hang of it quite rapidly. Good luck, I know you can all do well with this ...Spanky....Looks like 10 or 11 games this theory could apply to this weekend, this is going to be lots of FUN....
