This is an ugly one, so those of you without a bag or two to put over it's head better not continue.

Since 1999, teams starting out 0-4 SU are 23 -7 (or 76.7%) against the spread in their next (5th) game.

CINN is up this week. ST LOUIS will be on deck for next week (bye this week). Waiting in the wings with a loss this week are 0-3 DETROIT & HOUSTON.

This went 3-0 last year.

Just throwing it out there for ya & GL with it.

OK, 1-0 as CINN covered nicely last week and even had a chance to win the game before faltering at the end. Now at 24-7, 77.4%

If you chose to follow this year & last, you would be 4-0 and have room for the remaining 3 plays this week and still be locked in as a winner even if they all tank.

Up this week ATS are HOU, ST LOUIS & DETROIT.

GL with your choices........THE HITMAN

Good trend, but how often is a 0-4 team a 4 pt favorite on that 5th week?:scared

In a league of parity, this trend makes a lot of sense.

Keepitreal -- Houston is a strange situation all around. Had a home game cancelled, and gave away a win last weekend in terrible fashion. Still think they are a decent play this week.

Thanks for the heads up Hitman and good luck.

not trying to hurt anyone but i'd take + 14 than -4 if i take a loser in 0-4 fashion
if you take in account they are NFL class and should have self respect, my $$$ is with + 14
also Miami is toughening their act and may win or cover at Houston

Hope a few of you were along for the profitable (again) ride.

All four 0-4 teams either won outright (HOU, STL) or had a good chance to win (CIN , DET)

We just needed a couple of more points from HOU to cover & to complete a 4-0 sweep.

The finishing totals are 3-1 for 26-8 and 76.5 %.
See you next year with the same reminder.

While I don't have any stats on it, the traditional 0-4 teams usually fare very nicely ATS for the next few weeks and the season, also.
