The economy and job market are remarkably weak two years after the recession officially ended. Unemployment has topped 8 percent for 29 months, the longest streak since the 1930s.

Unemployment has never been so high so long after a recession ended. At the same point after the previous three recessions, unemployment averaged just 6.8 percent.

Governments cut 39,000 jobs. Over the past eight months, federal, state and local governments have cut a combined 238,000 positions.

Over 60 billion because of these ridiculous subsides where the bankers were playing the middle man. Oh and guess who fought hard for the bankers? Of course the phony Republicans who said that taking this money away from the bankers would cause a lot of people in the banking industry to lose their jobs. :mj07: Over a 60 billion dollar saving for the country and these dirt bags were fighting not for the country but for special interest banker buddy's. On another note Obama conceding on things every second I never expected. Same with the wars. I can see why u are not happy with him. But the shame of this whole thing is that the liberals are going down without ever even getting to try things our way. I find Obama to be a clone of Bush.
