Everything you see is priced like that! $***.99, or $**.95 come on! Price the fuhcking thing at $100 or $10,000, and I'll at least have some respect for the fact that you don't think I am dumb enough to believe that I'm saving a thousand bucks, and not a penny!

I don't know what this has to do with anything, but I am waiting for the laundry cycle to finish, so I figured, "why not?"

I think that started when the .99 got over-used so they thought it would look even cheaper.

We feel the same way in our business. It's weird though because everytime we tell someone the total is $1250.00, they inevitably say "Even?" I guess eveyone has been trained to think like that now.

The most evident place is at a gas station. Ask anyone how expensive gas is. They will say 93 cents but it is really 93.9 cents. That's 94 in my book!:shrug:
