played alot of games last night and had good night but then i checked my offshore account this morning and i saw i had a 480.00 loser on creighton[ ten times the wager i thought i had]. i almost fell off my chair. no way did i think i did that especially since i was not under the influence from several beers. the second crazy thing that happened was i checked halftime lines and got maryland at minus 7. i played it for large amount but then a few minutes later decided to parlay it also. the line had changed to 9.5 so i checked my pending wager and it showed nine points. decided to let it ride anyway but i did not get a message showing line had changed on 7 pt wager before i submitted it. guess i have to be a little more careful but what a wacky feeling to look up and see you had 10 times the play you thought you had.

called my offshore sportsbook and told them about my error of 400.00 wager instead of 40.00 and without even asking them to make a change they credited me the difference. i was totally surprised at their sportsmanship.

are you kidding? the book just took your word for it? did they look up your pattern of betting or see anything else? that is really amazing that a book would do that, esp. b/c of fraud, not saying you committed it, but where do they draw the line

i dont think $400 really matters to them that much when they are rolling in thousands of more dollars a day on people.

just them being generous. they can afford it. im sure it doesnt happen often

That's amazing. That's like a one-time roll of the dice and hope to have "free play" insurance. Normal bets of $20/$40/$60/etc., and then load up on one play for $200/$400/$600/etc.; if you win, Woo-Hoo, if you lose, try to have it corrected as an "obvious error". Some books can be piss ants if you call 90 seconds after a mistaken wager and try to have it corrected (We have a verify bet page, yada, yada yada). That's amazing.

It probably had more to do with how much money lowell donates to the books. They probably figure they'll get it back in a week or two anyways.

Now I think I understand. Adjusting an error for one of your more frequent and significant customers, lose or win, without batting an eye. Makes a lot more sense.

they actually were about to cut me off after i had been hitting all of your unc plays but you finally lost one. by the way did you see the picture in the raleigh paper this week of the unc soccer coach signing a 12 yr old's soccer shirt after some big womens game here? he had a smile as wide as highway 15-501 while holding on to the little girl's shirt about 3 inches above her navel as he signed his name. tarholes can rejoice, he will not be retiring soon.

I'm 1-1 on the season, excuse me for losing. I guess I won't go undefeated this year. I will rejoice, our women's team is nearly unbeatable with him there. Keep trailing everyone and losing the mortgage on your double wide lowell.

thanks for your kind remarks. no wonder most folks from nc hate new jersey. speaking of homes i may be making offer on one of the old homes on franklin st as you head into town. good thing is i do not have to make it contingent on selling the double wide. if i get it you can come visit. by the way what lawyer did unc use to help with the lawsuits against coach. probably the same one that helped keep ford's .26 dui in michigan on recruiting trip hush hush.
