Bill Frist's bill to ban gambling is going to force the government to now monitor everyone's personal spending accounts. Banks will now be developed to monitor ALL transactions we make and the government will know what I do, when I do it, and nearly everything about me.

This is a conservative's WORST NIGHTMARE. Any conservative that supports this Idiot for President should have his head examined. For years I have feared Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy would be behind monitoring and eventually controlling all my financial activities (which I still believe they would love to do) but now some fool who puts political interests above common sense did this.

After nominating that pervert Foley to the leadership on internet predators, being involved in gambling scandal after gambling scandal with Abramoff and selling out to his interests. After doing NOTHING to advance conservative interests after YEARS of power to do so and only EXPANDING government. After refusing to eliminate social security which is the worst investment plan anyone could ever come up with. After passing a ridiculous drug plan that puts extraordinary amount of money in the hands of a middle man which creates ZERO accountability and takes the dollar FURTHER out of play in health care. After doing nothing to keep the ridiculous and unAmerican and anti-success tax scheme out of my bank account. After doing nothing to reduce the number of babies in their wombs and most vulnerable state at being chopped to pieces at whim. After doing nothing to stop the constant dumbing down of American in our educational system.

AND I COULD GO ON..

The Republican party is the Conservative party no more.

What is the other option?

LMAO a bunch of leftist government loving hypocrites with the media in their back pocket and absolutely no viable solution to anything.

What do I do?

Vote libertarian until I get a viable option. This will force the Republicans to become Conservative again and get the government off my back and out of my life!!!!

I am so happy to see so many folks seeing the light about both these wonderful parties. Grid lock we need grid lock bad. There was a time when they were different as day and night. Special interest and scare tactics changed much of that. And we need big business and unions both the hell out of our governments pockets.

Libertarians aren't going to be the perfect party over-night, with polished canidates, and high financed campaigns.

And really, even if they never win, voting for them can be a powerful message. THAT will force the Republicans to change more than voting for Democrats, or just sticking with those turncoats.

I know it takes a little courage to change the way you vote, but it really isn't as hard as you think.

Freeze, I give you credit for not stubbornly supporting people you don't like. Keep up the good work - you'll find a leftist-free Freeze party someday.

No chit.

I had the exact same experence. The internet gambling bill was the last straw for me-who in the hell could call themselves a conservative and back this load of crap??
So I went and serched for Libertarian canidates-and I was dissapointed. Even their party website is pathetic-its like they dont take themselves seriousally.

This internet gambling bill is a fvcking sham-I cant beleive more people arent outraged.
Even non-gamblers--everyone should be pissed on idelogical grounds. Rediculious.

I will pay someone for a good argument as why this ban is worth-while.

And for 3 1/2 f***ing years I've been screaming about how this prick administration has been taking away your personal freedoms and you scum bag gamblers ignore me but only get riled up when internet gambling gets threatened.

Pretty pathetic, boys. Don't worry about me, I'm not sitting here in Cincinnati laughing at you saying I told you so. Actually I'm trying to figure out a country to move too.

Hey Pops,

Freeze is moving to Canada and Weasel is moving to Australia. Keep this in mind when chosing your new home. I suggest something fun and tropical for me and the eventual grandkids to visit.

Reckon I'll stay here in the USA. We're up to 300 million now. I'm good up to at least half a billion, then I might have to draw a line. Either way, I better learn Spanish, or at least refine my Spanglish a bit.
