Best Play of the Day[almost a luv]
Oklahoma St -17 over SMU
OSU has a high powered offense avg.'s 406 yds per game. They are nationally ranked very high in several catogories.Fields their QB had 291 yds last week vs UCLA[10th highest in OSU history]but did get picked off 4 times too.Lewis is one of the top WR's with 26-444yds and 4 TD's.In last 7 games he has over 800 yds.
They lost to UCLA after leading 10-0 and too LaTech 39-36 in the season opener. They did bet a weak No. Iowa 45-10.
Being 1-2 at this stage is really disappointing. So in comes Smoo when no offense and and average defense.
Smoo just lost to TCU 17-6 in a defensive battle. But Smoo has no QB.Tate has been terrible with a 41% completion avg. and just 2 TD's with 5 ints.He was a TE last yr and if he starts out today like he has in the past he will be a TE next week.Bartel who has never seen a snap yet in college football will replace him.Smoo has lost to Navy 38-7 and Texas Tech 24-14 at home.Smoo's defense isn't to bad with 2 top CB's but today in Stillwater they are going to get hammered with this passing attack.OSU has an excellent kicker in Philipi.
With the woes at QB the only real offensive weapon is RB Kincade. He has 93 carries with 406 yds.He carries the load as Smoo must run the ball a lot.Cowboys I think will stop the Smoo offense and with their "high powered" offense win this game by at least 3 TD's.
And Tate will get a number change on Monday at practice. Will be back later with North Texas-TCU and Army-Louisville

TCU -12.5 over North Texas
Lyr yr TCU beat NT 19-5.TCU scored 1 TD and 5 FG's.NT hasen't scored a TD in 11 quarters vs TCU.
NT's offense is bad. They rank as one of the worst in the nation in total, and passing offense.Hall their QB is available but won't start.Redshirt Frosh Smith is untested and gun shy because of Dickeys conservative style.NT's passing attack is 19-47 in 3 games. They cannot pass the ball.Bama shut them down, like UT and little ole Nichols St.
OL has been inconsistent in blocking schemes.OL cannot move the ball on the ground either.Galbreath and Cobbs are having trouble gaining yds vs. 8 man fronts.
NT's strength is defense. But vs bama last week they gave up 336 yds on the ground alone.Like I stated last week the defense got tired, due to the offense's 3 up and 3 down.
The special teams, kicking teams and punters are all weak. They have no FG kicker.
Brandon Kennedy their 5'10 300 pound tackle and the anchor of the defense was banged up this week due to the Bama line.He didn't practice until Wed.
TCU is a team I believe that is on the rise.Having lost to Cinncy in OT and beating Northwestern and Smoo 17-6 last week.
They are led by 6'5 QB Stilley who has 2 outstanding WR's in Dunbar and Madise.Dunbar can break a game open on any play.Stilly has a 62% completions rate with 773 yds and 4 Td's.Their RB's have been disappointing but hayter the tranfer from UT might start.
TCU's offense hasen't hit all it's cylinders yet but the potential is there. They score on big plays.Over 8 plays have gone for over 40yds or more.
Their defense is solid with one of the biggest Turnover ratio's in the country. They have created 8 fumbles and 6 ints in 3 games.McDonald their LB is a Butkus canidate and runs all over the field.
They have a great punter and kicker.Browne was the one that kicked 5 FG's lyr.TCU's OL is huge at 6'4,6'5,6'6,6'6,and 6'6.Their center is out this week so a new one is replacing him.I think NT's defnsive line is smaller and quicker but will tire out again in the 3rd and 4th qrt's.
Bama had over 500yds last week vs NT.TCU beat SMOO 17-6.Smoo's offense is a little bit better then NT's.I think TCU can almost shut out NT like they did last yr.TCU with Dunbar breaking one or 2 and a passing offense thats one of the top in Conf USA[27th in the nation]will beat the mean green by about 15 -20 pts. It's should be a low scoring game.NT will be there in the 1st half. But eventually they will pull away when NT's inconsistent offense puts the defense out there all day.Nt's avg. on the ground is 124 yds and 63 in the air.TCU will also put 8 or 9 guys on the line.
Like TCU to win this 24-6.NT will score but of course will miss the extra pt.

Louisville -27 over Army
Army is bad.I mean bad, bad.Nevels their soph Qb is now out 6 weeks with a tear.In comes plebe Dahman who was a Texas HS star who is not ready for Div 1 football. He is a skinny ass pencil 2 body frame Qb that had trouble with Rutgers last week.
Berry is nuts still trying to run his spread attack. With only Holden in the backfield and 3 Wr's spread out there is no one to deliver the ball to them.Everyone this week at the Point has finally realized that Berry's 3 yr experiment has failed.
Loyalist of Berry have finally jumped off his bandwagon.Benedict Arnold 200 yrs ago try to give up the "store".Berry is doing it at Michie Stad.
Dahman is 31-60 for 281 yds and 3 ints. And 10 of those completions were thrown from behind the scrimmage line.He is a puppy over his head.Berry this week has made some adjustments with the passing game.Yes.They will run more today to protect Dahman.but Army RB's have fumbled the ball 6 times already.
Offense today has to deal with Louisville's superstar White.Army could put 2 OL on him and he will still get dahman.by the way Dahman cannot move out of the pocket. He has no running skills and when the wind starts blowing on the Hudson in late Oct Dahman will needs some weight added or he will blow right into the River.
Black nites haven't scored in the last 80 minuts after getting shut out 44-0 to Rutgers.
Ragu and the Cards offense is powerful. The achilles heel of the cards is the OL.But Armys def line is just avg and undersized.Army is last in the nation in TO ratio and today a Dahman pass will be returned for a TD.
I can go on and on but I'm stopping. This is a huge mismatch. The score could be 55-0.Army cannot move the ball vs this good defense and the Army offense runs a spread attack. But Boxes inside sources say Army will put 2 backs in the backfield. How does box get that inside info.Everyone at the Point knows it including our local TV and newspapers.I'm not sure if Louisville knows unless they read todays papers. But cadets have bought all the local papers hoping no one reads it.
I'll give the 27 pts but only lightly.I repeat lightly.
No one wants to show up Army bad at the Point. After what our country has gone thru with 911 to the Army skydivers delivering the ball at midfield.Rutgers blew them out at home. It's different and Rutgers has no class anyway.
Louisville like OSU are probaly the 2 best 1-2 teams in the country.I can see the score being 35-10 with army getting a backdoor cover.
I'm taking the cards -27 but again lightly.Only because if they beat them 44-7 I'll be kicking myself in the ass.On paper it's a mismatch.Trends on both sides.Army is 6-2 with 20 plus pts as dogs. But in this series the straightup winner is also undefeated ats,5-0.

No time.
Like Mich St -2
Air Force +9 over cal
La Tech +14.5 over Penn St
Fresno St +12 over Oregon St
NC st +1.5 over TT
Good luck today.
Allnet he is a 6'2 monster at Wr.Smoo will have trouble with him from the get-go GL
