i think it`s unfortunate that he gets such an inordiante amount of hate and a guy like michael vick basically gets a pass from fans.....

odds are against him becoming a full-time starter....given his modus operandi(more college game oriented skillset)...

I don't think Vick gets a pass. People watch him because he is awesome and awesome to watch. That doesn't mean they "like" him personally or want to be friends with him or be a role model for their kids. This is a game. I, for one, don't morally evaluate each player. I watch for enjoyment and couldn't care less if the player believes in god or is a good guy or a not so good guy. Ceteris Paribus... fine. But I wouldn't want to watch the church league play football, I want to watch the best football players. Just my humble opinion
Those guys also don't have people gushing over how a good a guy they are. They just aren't as relevant as Tebow right now. They have all been the hot topic at one time or another.
No one will care about him in a year or 2 either. Unless of course he is as good as Vick or any of those guys really. Which we all know he isn't.
I didn't see the game, so I don't know how he fared. I just find it funny that people stand on some sort of moral high ground and make you look like a bad guy if you aren't rooting for Teebs to do well. I'm not saying you are doing that all.
