*** Angel Heart (1987)
---pretty good acting by Mickey Rourke, and tolerable by DrNiro...nevermind the attempt by that Cosby cast-off; worth seeing but a little predictable, IMO

***1/5 The Wicker Man (1973)
---could fall into that "disturbing" category, certainly if you suffer from the same metaphysical aversion as I do; good film though a little dated--a remake was made recently (w.Nicholas Cage, I believe), which I haven't seen though it might be the way to go (amg gives the remake 2/5 stars vs 4/5 for the original, mind you)

*generously Asylum (2008)
---oops...rated EXPG14...that is, if you are over 14 you likely won't enjoy it as much as you might if under that pivotal fb whatchamacallit

Proof Of Life with Russel Crowe and Meg Ryan is a decent movie. Check out The Experiment, Throttle is kinda fun to watch, Waters Edge keeps you interested, Rampage is surprisingly good, The Mosquito Coast is really good too.

Those should keep you busy for a day or two.

Just a few I watched recently that aren't usually talked about.

I did see The Experiment, a couple of weeks back, after recommended by a 'jacker. The English version, naturally. Was pretty good.

Still have a couple to watch--that recent David Lynch film (My Son, My Son, What [a Corny Title]), and and some twisted thing called Safe, supposedly highly rated but sounds corny.

RIP limewire
court-injunction has apparently terminated them

I hooked up with some shiite called shareaza...I'll have to try something else as this program apparently won't let me select certain files from torrents to download--just wants to download the whole shebang.

I've now lived through the life and death of both winmx and limewire.
I must be getting mold.

Groovy news, too--my new system will be delivered tomorrow.:00hour Been working with a 40G HD and a 1.8ghz processor that has developed more breaks from continuity than the current mlb playoffs (jeez...they still going on?). It's an overpriced Dell but what they hey...you only lived twice.

Actually....I just checked my faves...btjunkie is my top place to go for torrents. isohunt is second and piratebay is a distant 3rd. btjunkie totally rocks for torrents. Heard some cool L.Fletcher Prouty talks from 1989 just this morning that I scored via them...is this guy fucked or is the history they teach us? I know where my money is going.
