You would probably be fine. Most of the time bed bugs are contracted from the bedding and not the person. U would probably have to sleep in his bed to get them.

Honestly, if you're be serious I wouldn't let him in my truck. We got bedbugs in our house 5 years ago. Pretty much the worst thing ever. Cost me several thousands to get rid of them and a long time. Even after that it's hard to sleep at night because anything at all makes you itch and you're worried. Heck my wife still worries that we have them.
Still have no clue how we got them or where they came from but the mental toll it takes on you is very high.
