Jack ...added it to the NFL matchups forum section and I just want to mention it here in case anyone may have missed it. GO READ IT! I forget what Allnet says but hes been hammerin that point as well! Collectively...there is a machine here that can probably gather enough information to be VERY effective this fall. Its toooo much for any individual! The NFL matchups Forum is a great place to drop what you can find......weather,injury,drunk at the bar,dissension...whatever
I hear ya NOLAN and will be a regular contributor there. Maybe 10 regional college games as well if people get to WORK and we see success there????

I have harped on this for two years, and it keeps falling on deaf ears.

Guys will agree that it is a good idea, but that's as far as they go. Nobody seems to want to do any leg work, or post up their info on the teams that they know.

This site could cull so much information to help us make our picks. It is a shame.

I sincerely hope it will be better this season, but I won't get wound up if it falls again.

Take a look at IE's NEW Football Resource Page...I'm laying 7-2 there's not another website in existence that has something that organized and easy to use.

There's no excuse for not reading your hometown sports page and cutting/pasting SOMETHING pertaining to a game being played in your locale.

I agree, BUT....the time is now and it is much easier now. The format is in place with the Matchups forum and the resources are right here at our fingertips.....others have greater access....but all info should be directed to the matchups....Nolan is right on the money once again as you have been yyz and others....Lets see what we can do!

I've tried to organize regional info posts on other sites before. Unfortunately, few people respond or take the time to update any info. What most people care about it is who certain cappers like and that's all they care about. They don't even bother reading the matchups and instead goto the picks of certain cappers.

What we're asking is for guys to pitch in and help the forum.

Weather reports, good or poor practice reports (I just read in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette today that Chad Scott (Steeler db) got embarrassed by a rookie on a pass play that went for a td. In the next 10 plays, Scott had 3 interceptions and 2 near interceptions. Cowher was impressed and felt secure about his secondary.). How about late team arrivals, team dissention?

You don't have to give a full report....just some tidbit can be a help.

We have a great opportunity here.

Let's everyone pitch in and make good use of what Jack, IE and Nolan have provided for us.

Guys I throw as much in I can. Check that match up page. Some of it everyone knows some they may not. In the pros many get same reports from TV or news papers. So what if it has not been said. Say it someone may have missed it.
In college it can even help more. There are so many games one can't follow it all. No way one can get some good tips. Unless they are following a couple teams in there area. I agree many just check for a few picks. Ok thats them. Rest of us should say whatever we think may help.

As far as college goes guys and gals i would put out a call to IX Bender(approx 300 posts-escapes how many right at this moment)...beats my wires by 6 hours on the norm w/ info...the man is amazing..actually don't know who he is..... i only respect 2 or 3 people in the world for updates or anything to do w/ handicapping for that matter and he is one of them.....
