The rebels that were trained by the US were being given books full of violence, which taught them radical Islamic theories. The US armed them with stinger missiles so they could further attack the Soviets. After the Soviets withdrew, the Islamic radicals that had been trained by the CIA were left with nothing, so they targeted the US. They were being backed by the ISI, but the ISI had close ties to the CIA. So, it's a simple psyop. Get your enemy mad at you, but have another group who you really control backing them and funding them. They think that this source is helping them fight you, when in reality, it's you, but your directing their actions on command. He adjusted 'Rumsfeld's Rules', and put a new rule: 'America Ain't What's Wrong With The World'. In an interview with Parade magazine, he allegedly slipped up and said a 'missile' hit the Pentagon. Now, a missile did not hit the Pentagon. Only one eyewitness reported to seeing a missile. Everyone else saw a jet. The probable scenario is a flyover, but the missile theory was getting very popular on the internet, so perhaps Rumsfeld planted this remark as a false lead for researchers. Why did the hijackers fly Flight 11 past Indian Point Nuclear station to hit the towers when this would have caused more death and destruction?
