I have a question:
After hearing most of the reports and what not, i'm still confused as to why the people that were tracking the flights (ie: by radar from watchtower) did not realize where the planes were going...? and where was the U.S air force in all this?
If memory serves me correct, the planes were on a trajectory to hit the world trade center buildings, and i'm sure there was plenty of time to get the air force in and to divert the planes somewhere else, or in the worst case scenario, blow them out of the sky.
(i'm not being heartless, I'm just looking at it from another point of view, some would argue the needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few...)
any thoughts?
