we bought some of these rubber bands at walmart...they`re called Advantage? "file bands" #117b to use with some folders with important paperwork in them......
I can`t say how pliable,handy and resilient these mofos are...we use em to reseal freezer items after opening(they seem to keep their elasticity after being in the freezer for a long time)...sealing opened cellophane packages like cereal etc..to hold a stack of books together...to temporarily hold something glued together..hold trashcan liners in place....you can double,triple or quadruple them depending on what you want to use them for...
they`re "microwave safe"...lol
you can stretch them like two and a half feet with no issues...and they seem to hold together and stay stretchy for a very long time...
