I have gone over this game a million times and I can't see how Murray St is favored over Morehead St they already beat Murray St by 6 at Murray St and by 9 at Morehead. Morehead is the better team offensively and defensively they are 9-2 ATS on the road while Murray is 3-8-2 ATS on the road the ONLY advantage that I can find for Murray St is they have a little advantage on the offensive boards. Remember I don't believe in traps so please don't post that this is one but I think someone made a mistake would just like to hear from some of you guys with a little more knowledge on this conf than I have. freaky line, huh? morehead the higher rated team in most of the power ratings and beat murray in both meetings this year. but to tell you the truth i've been leaning to murray though will probably end up passing this game. truth is, murray has owned the ovc tourney in recent years. racers have won 11 of last 12 semi games and have beaten morehead 4 straight in the tourney and 5 of last 6. in earlier ot win, morehead rallied from a 17 point deficit by shooting 60% in the second half. astonishing stat is that, in the two wins over murray, morehead shot an astounding 20/36 from the 3 point line, or 55%. on the season, eagles average 34% from the arc, 38% over the last 5, but that includes the last muray game. assuming morehead cannot replicate their impressive shooting a third time against the racers, the edge goes to murray's superior inside game. this will probably be one hell of a game.

thought this was a bit odd myself, although Murray St. was a 9-point favorite at home and a 1-point favorite at Morehead St. I think vegas may be looking at this from the viewpoint that the average person (bettor) is going to play on Murray St. because they believe in the whole "it is hard to beat a team 3 times in a row theory"...especially in a game between pretty evenly matched teams. I believe that if they made Morehead a favorite, they would have a tough time getting Morehead money. Just my take on it. good luck.
I think it's got something to do with reputation. Murray St. comes to mind as "one of those pesky mid-majors that you don't want to meet in the first round of the tournament". Morehead St. does not.
