Now that i got to watch the Rampage/Griffin fight again last night u have to be absolutely insane to think Forrest won that fight. Another fight where announcers manipulated the crowd. Round 1 should have been 10-8 Rampage because he hurt him twice while flooring him once. Round two was a 10-9 Griffin and some wanted to give him a 10-8 but all he did was lay on him for four minutes without landing one single punch. 3 4 5 Rampage. 5 being to close to call but the champ should get it because he is the champ. Round three or four again Rampage hurt Forrest and open up his eye. At no time did Forrest come close to hurting Rampage except for the kick in the knee. A total travesty. How can my pals here in the MMA forum even think Forrest won that fight:shrug:

I had it 3-2 Rampage at the time. Probbably had 10-8 round but forgot who for and wich round.
I thought Page did enough to remain champ but it was a close fight and wouldnt call it a robbery. Forrest had him with low kicks but let him off the hook.

Watch it again. Okay robbery might have been a little bit of a strong word. You can't take away his title like that. Forrest was hurt on five separate occasions. Rampage once in the knee. Rampage got caught in a triangle but got out of it easily. The thing that disturbs me the most is round 2 where Forrest dominated on top but did absolutely nothing for four straight minutes. Absolutely not even a scratch on Rampage. The round Rampage was on top where he got caught in the triangle he at least did some damage. It is almost like they gave Forrest that round because of the triangle when Rampage did most of the damage in that round. Im a big believer that if u are a challenger u have to take that title away. Im not even sure if Forrest was the champion i would have given him the fight. After round two where Rampage took the knee shot and basically went to the ground he made all the right adjustment in 3 4 and 5 to stop those knee kicks. when i first saw the fight i thought Rampage was pathetic on the ground in round two but now i don't think that. He blocked every thing Forrest threw at him and who knows he might have wanted to stay there just to give his knee some time to recoup. Oh and lastly these are views from a guy who had no money on the fight unlike Kickserv :142smilie I think if my pal Weasel watched that fight again on TV and not on you tube he would think the same thing.
