Round 1 play (2pts):

Jamie Donaldson to beat Victor Dubuisson -125 @ 5Dimes
Martin Kaymer and Rory McIlroy have shown that course form is very important at Abu Dhabi GC and these are two players with very different histories here. Donaldson won the event two years ago and hasn't missed a cut here since the inaugural event in 2006; Dubuisson has played here twice and missed the cut both times, recording an over-par round on all four occasions. With little current form to use, this should be decisive in this matchup.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Schwartzel tb Dubuisson -111; Aiken tb Hend -130]

Round 3 play (2pts):

Miguel Angel Jimenez to beat Niclas Fasth -150 @ Stan James and Paddy Power [available generally]
Looking to oppose Fasth who has made two consecutive cuts, but whose last top-10 finish was over three-and-a-half years ago, so it seems unlikely that he will improve on his current 16th place finish. Jimenez had eight last year along, including this event, and he also won two events, so it is no surprise that he has a 9-1-1 h2h record against the Swede over the last 12 months. The odds are short, but Jimenez is far more competitive and warrants shorter odds.

[unofficial rd3 system plays: Schwartzel tb Hansen S -163; Pepperell tb Stal -120; Fisher O tb Paratore +100; Dubuisson tb Ilonen -150]

Round 4 play (2pts):

Jamie Donaldson to beat Alexander Levy -133 @ Bet365
In his first event for six weeks, Donaldson was slow to start this week, but rounds of 67-65 in the last two days have lifted him to 8th place. He's still nine shots behind Kaymer, but he can certainly win the race for 2nd place, particularly as he is a former winner on this course (2013). Levy was a double-winner last year, but he is still not at the same level as Donaldson, so there should still be value at these odds, particularly given Donaldson's momentum so far this week.

[unofficial rd4 system plays: Schwartzel tb Levy -125; Wiesberger tb Levy -110; Bourdy tb Stal +100; Schwartzel tb Dubuisson -111]
