BACK 2pts

Juist Luiten 170 & lay 4pts @ 75
With 6th place finishes in each of his last two visits to Abu Dhabi, Luiten has the course form to be an off-radar contender this week. Working with a new caddy, Michael Waite, should also be a positive in this first event of 2016.

Alex Noren
260 & lay 4pts @ 130
Very good record in the Middle East - 9th in Qatar and 2nd in Dubai last year, as well as being inside the top-10 after rd1 on four previous occasions in this event. A winner last year (Nordea Masters) so he shouldn't be these odds.

Thongchai Jaidee 110 & lay 4pts @ 55
Another player who has top-10 finishes in his last two visits to Abu Dhabi and six top-15 finishes in total here. All the attention is on McIlroy and Spieth, but this is a good price for a player inside the World top-30.

Just getting to the computer before the off. With only a couple exceptions, a full blown effort made by me in capping this week, starting with being in on the action last week. But still rolling out plays plenty slow.

Martin Kaymer(18/1) e.w.
Chris Wood(66/1) e.w.
Andy Sullivan(50/1) e.w.
Alex Noren(200/1) e.w.
