Classy post Doc!!
Always a crime when it comes down to penalties. Juve just seemed lifeless throughout the majority of the match. Don;t know if it had to do with the absence of Nedved or what, but they did not look close to their best.
Milan on the other hand played well in the first half but then tailed off in the second. Then in overtime I was stunned to see Juventus not attack Milan when Roque Junior got injured. The second OT period seemed as if both clubs were content to see PK's decide their fates.
Juve fans should hold their heads high as losing in penalties in one game may have lost them the European title, but their performance over the course of a 34 game season won them a Scudetto over Milan and Inter and the rest.
Even a die-hard Milan fan like myself must admit that winning the league proves to me that they are the better team. In the CL final, Milan just proved to be luckier.
