The Lord of the Rings can not be ignored as it is a great work................trouble is; quirky films.....Fantasy, Sci fi,generally, do not win best picture..check out Spielbergs offerings over years......my guess is giving it best director will be top honor for the trilogy.....yesterday Peter Jackson won Director Guild top award for Rings....out of the 56 times awarded, 50 times awardee went on to take Oscar..... best I could find at my outs is -400...lot of chalk...but am taking a small poke at it.....gltu.... I am taking a darkhorse at 33-1 fittingly it is Seabiscuit, Best Picture
