i like both acc home dogs today. wake has a prep edge against cincy with prosser and staff, who were 4-3 against huggins at xavier and won three of the last four meetings. needless to say the demon coaching staff is pumped for the game. players also have revenge motive after dropping close ot game @ cincy last year. wake has won 23 nonconference home games dating back to 1998 and playing well lately with four acc wins in a row. only question mark is josh howard who turned ankle thursday and did not practice yesterday. i'll wait here and if howard can't go today i'll probably back off.
i also like tech with the boatload of points at home. tech has really picked up their play of late, especially on the defensive end, winning last three acc games against the bottom teams by an average of 20+. with dunleavy's chronic sore knees and williams' lingering groin injury, duke doesn't take well to the quick turnaround on the road. last weekend when they has to go on the road to clemson and play a day game on saturday after a thursday night game, the tigers gave them all they wanted, eventually losing by ten. i think tech can keep it within this big number today.
