I'm just here to vent a little about why the hell some books only offer "Listed" pitchers as an option to bet baseball with them. I just signed up with WSEX for the baseball season and not until after the fact I found out they only offer listed pitchers and no "action" plays. I was going to sign up with Pinnacle, but they have a minimum $100 wager which was too high for me. Does anyone know what's the reasoning behind not offering "action" plays?? That was so frustrating to find out after I went through all the western union crap. I've had a hand full of books before and NONE of them ever had that policy. That's why I was so frustrated. Now I know I'm going to get screwed this year because of this "listed" pitcher thing. It's screwed me in the past. That's why I play the majority "action". Anyway, from my minimal experiences with WSEX, I wouldn't reccomend them. Just wanted to pass on the info....

Pinnacles minimum is definitely not $100. You are for sure wrong on that. Why would you want to bet a baseball game after capping it for a certain pitcher anyway, and then have another pitcher come in. Just because a bet won for you with a different pitcher doesn't mean it will do this all season. In fact you will lose money in the long run and that is a fact if they swap pitchers on you. Because 9 times out of 10 a worse pitcher is coming in. Pedro and Curt and other good pitchers don't make spot starts. The ONLY time that it would have any advantage if it ever does is if you cap a game over, and then they swap a pitcher because like I said, 9 out of 10 times you will be getting a worse pitcher. But then you could have spent a half hour disecting a game with a right handed pitcher and then they bring in a lefty. Where is your edge then. If anything you can blame yourself for not reading the house rules before depositing. It certainly is not WSEX fault. The reasoning.ie,its purpose to serve is them not getting burned, but at the same time it works for you not getting burned. What if you had info that pedro was going to make a spot start on four days rest and you were getting +110 when a minor leaguer was originally gonna start. On the flip side what if you bet pedro at -160 against the yankees at home, and then they bring in a minor leaguer last minute. Five years ago, the listed pitcher wasn't even available at most sites. You should be lucky you have it.

And here, since I'm in a gambling mood, i'll make a play for you showing you can basically bet anything at pinnacle:

Wager Type:: Straight Bet Selection #1: MLB BaseballNew York Mets/Montreal Expos 10-April-2004 4:05 PM PST Total Points OVER 9.5 for Game -101 A. Leiter must start J. Patterson must startRisking 1.01 to Win 1.00 USD

And you definitely aren't going to get "screwed" this year because of the "listed" pitcher thing.

Yup, ya can bet only a buck at Pinnacle. Its nice for horses when I get in a long shot mood or for boxing trifectas. And they rebate you 7% on your total action.
