credit is certainly not the way to get out of debt. Work 3 jobs, eat rice and beans, beans and rice, don't go out to eat, don't gamble, sell you car that you are making a payment on and buy an older domestic or ricer for 500 bucks or so, sell all of the sh!t in your house, don't buy any new clothes, don't buy any gifts for anybody, don't spend money on alcohol, don't play golf or participate in any other expensive activities, get rid of your cable, ditch your cell phone, and if you are making payments on anything else in your house (furniture, computer, etc.), get rid of it.

Not being a smart ass, but this is how you get out of debt, hard work. Do this for a year or 2 or however long it takes to get out of debt, then do it for another year, and you'll have a fresh start with extra money. gl!

How about selling some stuff? TV, VCR, small electronics. Pretty sure on ebay or a pawn shop you could get half of that just selling stuff. Oh, and flip some burgers for a while. If nothign else it will teach you some humility.

Play the lottery

Play the lottery

Clean out your bank account and go to the local 7-11 and buy all of the Powerball tickets you can afford.

This should solve all of your problems.......

Lets start with pulling your pants up over your ass crack and jockeys then turn that cap straight. Then we move on to tucking that shirt in and pulling that hardware out of your melon.
Now you learn what English is, it's not Hoe, Cap, reelin, busta, 50cent, square etc:
Next going to school means more than once a week attendance and HOMEwork is exactly that HOMEwork!
That is enough for today, next lesson we teach the Drivers seat is not a Stratolounger and sunrise is not your que to get some zzzz::

damn sixfive- all of this over $1000 if you go back and read the intitial post , he has no credit , in the minus in his back account and needs $1000. I didn't mean for my post to be "too" smartazzed , but my guess would be that this guy is "into some one" for $1000 and didn't admit it!!!!!!!! If thats the case bcoogda1 this would be much better advice .................IMO

1- get a J-O-B
2-straighten out your bank account, if you do not it will follow you for a long time
3-make payment arrangments with your bookie that you can realistically meet, and stick to it faithfully..............Don't be TOO scared no one is going to hurt you over a grand. Just be straight up! Keep in mind it could be much , much, worse and there were most likely many more befor you .
4-DO NOT SELL YOUR STUFF thats just ridiculous IMO
5- get out while you can...........and hopefully learn a lesson from it!!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind also that I would say almost everyone around this forum has a story or 2 to tell over the years about being into a bookie at some point or another of course not many will admit it!!!!!!!! I guess its just the male ego thing

all that being said I sincerely wish you the best of luck!!!!!!!!

a grand...no problem just drop off two of your nearest relatives not living with you......they will be returned upon payment, though you might want to keep em out of direct sunlight for a few days... j/k.....

I know it doesn't seem like a significant amount of money, but it is all relative, when your tapped , a dime seems like a mil to some people, even though it isn't doesn't make the anxiety or stress any less real....you have gotten some good advice, communicate, do your best to keep your word and learn from the situation.....the lesson could save you more than a dime further on down the road....gotta run and double down on all the favs today...
