Bart Bryant to win 12/1 e.w. available generally
Was apprehensive about backing Bryant at 12s when he was 14/1 last week against virtually the same field, but there is last year to consider. After waiting 475 events to secure his first Tour victory, he looked set for number 2 (albeit on the Champions rather than PGA Tour) when he took a two-shot lead into the final round and started with three birdies. But after hitting his drive into the water on the 10th hole, then came the bad luck. His drop was so bad that he had to lay up and then his lay up ended up in a divot from where he found the bunker instead of the green and took a triple-bogey. He then got back into the lead by birdieing the next three holes, but at the 16th hole, his drive found a deep divot and from there his ball buried in a bunker making it impossible to get out in one. He would again birdie the remaining two holes, but his victory chance had gone. Did he explode in anger? No. In his own words, "I hit good shots, it just worked out badly ... I can take lots of bad luck for 96 grand." It has been that attitude and a belief that he could still play well when leading tournaments that has enabled him to move up a level this year and be at least the 3rd best player on this Tour.
Chip Beck to win 16/1 e.w. @ BetFred
But Chip Beck may have something to say about that ranking. He has only been old enough to play three events on this Tour, but he has finished 5th, 3rd and 2nd and shot no round worse than 70 in the process. He doesn't have Bryant's Texas connections, but he has shown that he can match the best on this Tour and with more of the younger generation joining them over the next year [O'Meara, Price, Langer, Faldo, Cook], there could be a lot more competition for titles each week.
Eduardo Romero to win 20/1 e.w. @ Stan James, William Hill and Paddy Power
Romero also doesn't have any course experience, but given that he won his last European Senior Tour appearance in August, won the JELD-WEN Tradition in his next event and followed that with a top-5 finish the following week, he is another player who is certainly capable of winning in this company. In fact, the only surprise is that it has taken so long for him to break through on this Tour. On that basis, there is value at this price.

David Edwards to beat D.A. Weibring -131 @ Pinnacle
Weibring has struggled with a shoulder injury this year while Edwards has made quite an impression in his first season on Tour. The product of these two players moving in opposite direction is that Edwards has finished ahead of Weibring in 10 of 13 common events this year and in each of their last six starts. More of the same this week, please!
Morris Hatalsky to beat Mark James -110 @ The Greek
This season has also been disappointing for Hatalsky, but he has performed better than James who has finished ahead of him just twice in their last nine common events. With Hatalsky beating James by two and nine shots on this course over the last two years respectively, he should warrant favouritism in this match.

Gil Morgan to beat Tom Jenkins -110 @ Pinnacle
Opposing last week's champion. That was Jenkin's 7th Champions Tour title and apart from his first win in 1999, he has yet to finish in the top-10 the following week. His remaining 'week-after-win' finishes have been: 43rd, 17th, 29th, 33rd and 17th. And given that he has just one top-10 finish in Texas the last seven years on the Champions Tour (14 events), he really shouldn't finish there this week. That should leave the door open very wide for a Morgan win and he was last year's runner-up, after all.

What is it with the seniors and rain? For the second week in a row, the final event is cancelled not even midway through the afternoon. None of the selections had looked like winning, but at least Beck had got to within a shot of a top-5 position.

Both Hatalsky and Morgan managed to catch and pass their opponents during the final round, but their good scores were expunged from the records. But in truth, as with last week, they should never have been trailing after 36 holes.
