Advice on playoff pool

long story short...me and one othe rguy are tied for lead in playoff pool

I imagine we will both have NE....so the tiebreaker will be the total points....so what point total woul dyou pick to give your self the best chance of winning.
As of right now I would go with 38 and let him choose higher or lower, hoping he would pick wrong

I saw somewhere the 1st Half total is 15 1/2 and the second half is 21 1/2.

That's 37. But the game total now is at 38 !

If you think the line might nudge its way up a little, try 39. Force him to go to 40. If he goes below @38, i guess you can hedge some of the pool money on the under. Same for the over.
