the land of confusion
What's it come to whan a yank has to start the AFL thread around here??!! :grins:

LMM
My resurgent 'hybrid' system (10-1 over last 12 weeks) pick the Saints to roll Sydney by 15 or more in tonights first final. So I'd suggest treading lightly with that one. I be cheering Sydney on as I have them to win it all next week (along with even more on Adelaide!).

In the other semi my 'express' system selects Adelaide to repeat the dose they gave West Coast a couple weeks back. Adelaide were the first team to win over there in a couple years and it suggests they'll do it again!!

The Saints / Adelaide double is paying $3.10 ish and is well worth a stab for those interested.

PAWA....What's the weather like over there mate?

Seeing plenty of rain about...maybe some wind.

Interested in the total again tonight....

Pretty low, but good value imo.

under 135 (2.70)...136-155 (3.50)

Sydney have managed 109 and 134 in their last 2...Saints scored 122 @ AAMI.

Pretty sure Sydney will try to bottle it up again tonight....slippery conditions will make it very tough.

Weather report then, please sir!! :D

Wandered outside Christo.........

Pretty cold & windy some dark clouds have gone past and I can see the sky again in the west....but the wind is blowing from there and it looks like bringing some more cloud from over that way pretty quickly! They did say hail tonight on the radio.

........shit...went back out and the wind has stopped to next to nothing!!! WTF??!!

Does that help?

This is Melbourne dude.....my tip is that it is going to :mj12: PISS DOWN soon!! :mj07:

Looking on the radar, it seems there will be another pretty heavy downpour before the game, but looks relatively clear after that.

Melbourne, ay!...At least here when it's cold and rainy, it stays cold and rainy!! :D

Looking through the year, I can only see two games this season that St. Kilda have played outdoors at night. Could that be a factor?
65-57 @ AAMI, and 75-80 @ Freo.

Sydney games at night have been; 109, 134, 101, 156 (A half strength Geelong), 153 and 154.

Saints have allowed 65 ppg in their last 5....Sydney have allowed 60 ppg in their last 5....Sydney have scored just 56 and 58 v. St. Kilda in their last 2 meetings.

Now the prices have changed even further in the 'unders' favour, might be worth a show I reckon.

Sydney make it through to the big one. The big dog beats the team of champions!! Who'd of thought it possible? ....well besides LMM!!!

Good old Robert Walls did his very best to make sure big bad Barry Hall won't make it to next weeks game. How many times did he demand to see the replay of Hall jabbing Maguire in the guts?
What a funkin TOOL that Walls is. :jerkit:
Geez he shits me!!

Well done Sydney.....but it will get harder without Hall next week!!

And doing the best of all of us!!! :mj14:

Nice call, Money.

Well, after Sydney's unprecidented scoring explosion in the last, I've jumped back on the under today.
Under 146 @ 2.90...someone is pounding the over again, but just don't see it this time.

Robert Walls? THE dumbest man EVER to have coached an AFL team. Has ZERO idea of what is happening on the field at any stage.

My favourite last night was when the umpires had their group discussion about whether than goal was touched or not...
...We saw the replay, and Walls said, "I reckon the umpire got it right"....
...Hudson, "How can it be a point when the ball came forward after it was touched?"
...Walls, "Good point, Huddo." !!! :mj07:

He is a world class knob.

West Coast thru to the big one against the swans! If Hall goes, it's gonna be all one way traffic, just like....should i say it, the 96' GF. Pawa, knock it off real quick and take a seat- it was nice years ago! 4 of the 6 interstate teams playing for the flag in the past 2 years. Let us know what the build up is like from a Victorian point of view paw. It must surely be different down there than it would be if two Vic teams were in the big one. BTW, christo and i have something in store for you!
