Both games look like great contests but one in particular sticks out to me. Betting my house on the pies to win this weekend and cover the 7.5 point spread and as much as I hate to say it, think they win it all. Port's finals record and MCG record along with the pies' impressive wins over Adelaide, Sydney, the dons and then Brisbane in the first week of finals speaks for itself IMO. Think they are a great bet this weekend to reach their second straight Grand final. What do you guys think about this weekends games and what is the system leaning towards pawa?:shrug:

System has both games too close to favour anyone. I lean towards Collingwood to cover for the same reasons and maybe Sydney with the points start. I expect a Grand Final replay though.
I am also expecting a grand final replay and agree that the sydney/brisbane game is too tough to call. Watched sydney beat the lions at the gabba late in the season where they struggled for most of the first half with their matchups but steamrolled them in the second half once they improved in this area. They have an all round solid unit that they have proven can match the lions all over the ground which makes for a great game. 
I understand it's not Sydney's choice, but playing the game at Stadium Oz, and not the SCG will cost Sydney a spot in the GF.
The reason Brisbane have recently struggled against Sydney i s that the Swans defense has been able to shut down Lynch, and Brisbane have struggled to kick a winning score.
Also key to Sydney's success in both games this year v. Lions is that Leppitch didn't play in either game.....Meaning they've had to play Bradshaw back and have little or no options to swing forward with Lynch getting held.
Pretty sure Brisbane get it done this week, but as for betting, they are a bit short at 1.50 :moon:

Christo, already on the pies as I just love this one. Port have been the best team all year in the home and away season as we all know but think the pies have shown they are the real deal and get it done here. Agree with your statements on the sydney game being played at Telstra stadium as opposed to the SCG though. Big disadvantage IMO also.
Still no great idea about either game, but still can't shake the feeling that Port finally get it all together this week.

Loaded up on the pies and hit the jackpot which was nice. You guys both think Brisbane get it done in the grand final replay ay? Should be a great final and as much as I hate to say it, I'm leaning the other way, but that will be pending on whether or not Rocca will be watching from the grandstand. Was the hit that bad that he will definitely miss? Haven't seen a thing so curious to know what you guys reckon.:shrug:

Thanks for the info christo! This will definitely hurt the maggies forward set up and leaves them with Tarrant the only real target up there. We've seen what happens when this is the case in the past! Not promising for pies fans.
