58-35 (19.80)

Port -23.5

Gotta love this line!!!...Definately didn't expect anything under 30.
Purely playing the %'s in this one.
port have lost only 2 of their last 20 @ home...and one of them was Adelaide.
This year they have won 12 of 13 (loss to Adelaide) @ an av. winning margin of 55.4 points!!!
They have won 10 of 13 by more than this number.
Port have won the last 6 meetings b/w the teams @ 47.5 points!..The one game this year Port won by 46 @ a neutral ground down here in Tassie.

Last week's game DEFINATELY over-valued the Saints...If we discount that game they are 2-7 outside of the dome, with an av. loss of 27.5 points.

Really think Port will win this one comfortably.

What's everyone else reckon?

I've got Port and Brisbane coming up as 'strong plays' which are hitting @ 60%ATS / 72% when @ home (Port) / 88% ML @ home (Port).
Lots to like about Port with all the (home) numbers in their favour. The Saints might put up a fight for 2 to 3 quarters but the Power will run away with this in the last.

Brisbane will beat the gallant Cats but with injury clouds over a few of the Lions, perhaps the line will prove too much to cover. Money is coming for the more generous +lines available.

Agree with you guys also and think that port is the play for the weekend. Only thing that will get in front of them is themselves- we all know what has happened in the past couple of years. Anyway, jumping on board for the ride!

Wow!! What a game!! Port couldn't shake those pesky Saints and it came down to one kick in the end. Wanganeen, after being invisible most of the night, kicked 2 ripper goals to keep Port in front when it mattered. Credit to the young Sainters though. This game will be a great stepping stone to that elusive cup that will come their way in the next few years.

Never looked like covering the line but got some of it back with Reiwolt v Dew in the goal kicking. Brisbane should bring home the double for a little more.

I also reckon that this was Port's Grand Final and they'll really struggle to get up again for next week's inevitable showdown with the rampaging Lions.

This one was worthy of a Grand Final match.
What did ya think Christo??

What a game last night!!!!!

Didn't have any plays on the game but it was a thoroughly entertaining match from a neutral perspective. Hope the grand final will be as good but I fear not.

Play
Brisbane -27.5 d Geelong (2 Units)

Another amazing final tonight with the young Cats sticking it to the Lions physically all night. So much so that they probably should have won the game having gone inside their 50....59 to 40!! They dominated early and should have broke clear by 3-4 goals but inacuracy cost them dearly.

The ol' Lions just do what has to be done and won, even though they had an average night by their standards.

2 nights of awesome footy, the way it was meant to be played. Great stuff
