Looking forward to the replay of last years game which I'm sure we all are. Actually get this one live over here in the states which is good (273 Fox sports world for anyone in the states who is interested). If Rocca gets suspended you would have to expect the favouritism to go in Brisbane's direction. Leaving Tarrant the only main target up forward will definitely hurt the pies goal scoring ability. Leaning toward the lions if Rocca does not get a start strictly on this basis. Should be a ripper either way.;)

No Rocca for the Pies make it very hard for them. Changes the forward set-up and continuity. Brisbane are the doggy and I'm happy with that!! :D
Will be a low scoring affair and an Under 39.5 to Brisbane should be the play.

Would have to think that it will go under 39 regardless of who wins the game. Mr C, you've been a little quiet through the finals mate- what are you thinking? You're right pawa, Rocca is a BIG loss!

I heard on the news last night about some guy who put $500 on the Lions to win 3 flags in a row at 4000/1 back in 2000.
He stands to win $2,000,000 come Saturday!!!

"HOLY MOLY"

That bet for 3 lions premiership sounds like a media release more than bet.

With the game itself I think McKee will be brought in for Rocca. He will start in the ruck with Fraser going forward. I think the Pies will be very up for this and Brisbane are taking too many guys that are carrying injuries.

Even though Brisbane have played well the last too weeks, it was only in the latter stages of both games that they buried their opponents, and both Adelaide and Sydney didn't take advantage of having the Lions on the ropes.

I do agree that the game should be close, but I feel that ifCollingwood get away to a solid start they could really blow the Lions out of the water similiar to what they did to Port.

Bets: Collingwood 40+ @ 6.50 or better
J.Fraser to win Norm Smith Medal @ $23 or better (Will be the focus for a lot of the newspapers etc and a dominant performance up forward or in the ruck could see him salute)

Big call on the 40+ Pumpkin. I just can't see how this game will be blown open by either side to that extent but if it does in the pies favour you will be raking in the the cash with those odds. Agree that if the pies are to win, Fraser will have to have a big game in the ruck and kick a few goals up forward. Not a bad 'dark horse' for the norm smith at all. I think it will come from one of the playmakers from either side though. Buckley, Voss or Aker( as much as i hate the guy) maybe. Should be a cracker though and good luck with your plays Pumpkin.

I think even Aker hates himself. Some of the comments he comes up with. Although it is a little more refreshing than dragging out the same cliches

Yep, no doubt that Aker's handstand will be in full force if the lions are successful this arvo. Would be great to see someone jump the fence and drive him through the turf when it happens to. Not the biggest fan of the guy. Who's going to win this game? Has to be the closest Grand Final matchup in years. Leaning toward Brisbane still but if anyone has any last minute important info can they please throw it in a quick post. Hard to get last minute updates over here in the states with the exception of afl.com. :)

Very wet weather this morning, but the report is for the conditions to dry out this afternoon by game time.

Still expect one if not both teams to make some last minute changes.

Half hour or so before the start and the sun has only just come out to try and dry up this mornings rain. It'll be slippery under foot and I think that probably helps Collingwood slightly.

GO YOU LIONS!!!!........:firing: :firing: :firing:

Big suprise seeing the lions roll the pies the way they did today. A three peat in this generation of football is nothing short of phenomenal so all credit to them. Good to see Aker finish off the telecast with his trademark handstand also! Good to see the system finish the year on a good note also pawa. Well done mate!:D
