The Kangaroos are a team that play 100% no matter what the circumstance. They have won 15 of their last 20 pre-season games and certainly take them seriously. Melbourne, on the other hand, have won only 2 of their last 10 games, including a 13 point loss to the Kangaroos last year @ Telstra. This game will be played at Canberra though (Kangaroos? second home) where they have won 7 of the 9 games they have played.
I expect the ?Roos to be too strong again here.

You're right pawa, they could definitely use the prize money and membership. Hard to believe they are in such a position considering the amount of success they had in the late 90's. No way in hell could I take them at that price! Brisbane have named 17 Prem players, and just might take the game a whole lot more seriously now they don't have to go to Perth next round.

Sydney have to be good the best value of the remaining games at 1.40.

I see Sydney only giving Carlton 16 pts start and played up there. Will have me some of that. Adelaide at home giving the Saints 11 is also tempting.

The Sydney Swans have been hard hit by injury ahead of Sunday?s Wizard Home Loans Cup opener against Carlton at Telstra Stadium, with Leo Barry (shoulder), Jason Ball (shoulder), Michael O?Loughlin (knee), Nick Davis (hamstring), Rowan Warfe (hip) and Ben Mathews (ankle) all ruled out.

They have gone out slightly to 1.45.

My thoughts exactly pawa. The preseason is too hard to pick due to the teams being much weaker than the regular season. Always some suprising results. Wouldn't worry too much about the preseason as I can hear 'the express' warming up for yet another successful journey from over here in Texas! Sorry fellas, but I'm calling the early shotgun!
