Kangaroos 1.60

The Kangaroos are a team that play 100% no matter what the circumstance. They have won 15 of their last 20 pre-season games and certainly take them seriously. Melbourne, on the other hand, have won only 2 of their last 10 games, including a 13 point loss to the Kangaroos last year @ Telstra. This game will be played at Canberra though (Kangaroos? second home) where they have won 7 of the 9 games they have played.
I expect the ?Roos to be too strong again here.

You're right pawa, they could definitely use the prize money and membership. Hard to believe they are in such a position considering the amount of success they had in the late 90's. Hopefully the Canberra deal continues to bring in some much needed $$ for the club. GL to you guys on the roos tomorrow.

Damn PAWA.

Looks like we both take our $15, 000 cheques and trot back to the drawing board.

Tough start to the year.....

My Roos played like absolute crap. I am now extremely nervous about what I 'thought' may be a good year.

0-2 and looking to the Hawks to come through with the goods.

Hawthorn into 1.28!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No way in hell could I take them at that price! Brisbane have named 17 Prem players, and just might take the game a whole lot more seriously now they don't have to go to Perth next round.

Sydney have to be good the best value of the remaining games at 1.40.
SURELY one game can go true to form this weekend

The hawks at $1.28?? What's up with that? Might be worth laying a little on the lions just for the sake of it. My afl.com page is not working but obviously the lions are missing some key players to be at the price they are. Who's out?

Another nine premiership players remain on the sidelines including Lynch, Leppitsch, Michael Voss, Simon Black, Brad Scott, Chris Scott, Clark Keating, Beau McDonald and Blake Caracella.

Can tell everyone it's a beautiful day here in sunny Launceston. Weather won't be a factor.

Cats beat Port last night and West Coast smashed Collingwood by 100 odd  They looked bloody impressive.

I see Sydney only giving Carlton 16 pts start and played up there. Will have me some of that. Adelaide at home giving the Saints 11 is also tempting.

The Sydney Swans have been hard hit by injury ahead of Sunday?s Wizard Home Loans Cup opener against Carlton at Telstra Stadium, with Leo Barry (shoulder), Jason Ball (shoulder), Michael O?Loughlin (knee), Nick Davis (hamstring), Rowan Warfe (hip) and Ben Mathews (ankle) all ruled out.

They have gone out slightly to 1.45.

Leaving it alone. Still angry I let my GF talk me out of taking Geelong +15.5 last night!...Long story...Don't ask!

Good luck PAWA.

Interesting christo- letting the female persuade your betting mate! By the way, did you end up clipping her at the end of last season in the tipping comp? LOL, just messing with you mate. Pawa, thanks for the update. I went to thescore.com to find out the results after the afl.com site decided not to work. Can't believe the pies kicked only 2 goals in that game!

LMAO

Checked the score update and Brisbane leading 51 to 4 in the second!! As much as I've been hangin for an AFL bet...this is getting ridiculous!! All small plays but it still hurts!! Come on Sydney against a still crappy Blues....surely I can get one up.

Not risking the Crows after all of this crap. Time to stay away from all of this Mickey Mouse stuff.

My thoughts exactly pawa. The preseason is too hard to pick due to the teams being much weaker than the regular season. Always some suprising results. Wouldn't worry too much about the preseason as I can hear 'the express' warming up for yet another successful journey from over here in Texas! Sorry fellas, but I'm calling the early shotgun! Like the view from the front.

Carlton by a century! Seriously, the odds on that would have bought you a new ferrari for laying no more than $5. And the saints come marching in..... Once again, preseason is too hard to call. Never know what's going to happen. Don't know if I'll be able to sleep tonight knowing that the blues beat the swans by a tonne! Who would have thought??
