the land of confusion
This weekends matches:

West Coast Eagles vs Adelaide Marrara Oval, Darwin Friday Feb 28 7.10pm EST
Kangaroos vs Melbourne Telstra Dome, Melbourne Saturday, Mar 1 6.40pm EST
Geelong vs Brisbane Lions Bundaberg Rum Stadium, Cairns Saturday, Mar 1 7.40pm EST
Collingwood vs Hawthorn Telstra Dome, Melbourne Sunday, Mar 2 6.10pm EST

Record thus far = 4 - 4 @ + 2.88 Units

Expecting Adelaide to be too strong for the Eagles. McLeod and Burns to fire in front of their home crowd and bring home the bacon!!
1 Unit Adelaide Under 39.5 pts @ $2.40

Adelaide -14.5 should be enough.

Adelaide Australia
Agree with you on Adelaide. Adelaide have said they are taking are near full strength side up whereas West Coast have said that will leave some of the older players in Perth.

Adelaide -14.5 d West Coast

Adelaide 106 defeated West Coast Eagles 80

26 point winners. Pretty much smack bang in the middle of the 15 to 40 point expected winning margin.
If only they could all be this co-operative!!!

Record > 5 - 4 @ +4.28 units

Back tomorrow with a look at the other games

I think there is some value in taking my Kangaroos versus Melbourne in tonights game (scored myself a couple of corporate tickets in front of the coaches box :D ) There generally isn't much between these two teams when they clash and after last weeks performances I think the Roos can push the Demons all the way.
$2.20 for the Roo win is just too enticing but at Tabsportsbet I'll have : 1 unit Kangaroos to win Under 39.5 pts @ $2.75
With the shorter Quarters in the pre-season comp, it's harder to blow teams away by big margins ( in theory anyway!)

Also adding: .1/2 unit Kangaroos / Brisbane / Collingwood treble @ $5.75

The other game up in Cairns between Geelong and Brisbane should favour Brisbane with the heat and travel effecting Geelong more. Brisbane is resting 9-10 premiership players from last years winning team  but then again Geelong have a very poor record against the Lions, so its probably best to stay away from this one.

Perhaps we aren't as bad as everyone seems to think we'll be.

Geelong 79 defeated Brisbane 71

Brisbane up by 37 points at half-time and then score just one more goal for the second half!!! WTF??

Record > 6 - 5 @ +5.53 units

In tonights game I'm tempted to take the points:
1 unit Hawthorn +17.5 pts versus Collingwood @ $1.85
Feel they might be able to run this one close.

Geelong backed from $2.50 into $1.65 favs before the jump. Biggest one goer for a long time. Brisbane's performance in the wasn't helped by the fact that the heavens opened up in the second half.

Collingwood 112 defeated Hawthorn 72

The Hawks ran it close for three quarters and then caved in during the last, losing by 40.

Record > 6 - 7 @ +3.53 units

Kangaroos are the last live prop at 30/1. Down to the last four this week with the Semis. Ya never know!!
