Firstly, sorry to hear about your, er, situation bomber. We've all been there (break-ups that is, not your missus!
). Tough time, I know, but hopefully everything will work out for the best. :toast:
Doggies +29.5
Definate play here.
Firstly, out-doors. Saints only 2-7 last year in outdoor venues. One win by 23 at this same ground over a poor Adelaide, the other by 51 over Sydney in the 2nd semi.
You are right, PAWA, by saying that the Dogs win last week was over a Sydney team missing 11 starters, but they (Sydney) did compensate by clogging the game up with lots of numbers around the ball and in the back half. Very scrappy game. Doggies looked good when out running, and this is a big ground down here, should be plenty of space.
St. Kilda were lucky in the end to scrape passed Hawthorn last week. They looked ok in the middle, but really missed Gehrig up forward. He'll be out again this week.
And, of course, the Doggies beat St. Kilda at the MCG last season by 23 points.
Actually like the Dogs chances of pulling out a win here...I'll be very surprised if they don't stay within 5 goals.
On a side note, I'll be there too. Looking forward to seeing the boys live for the first time this year.
Kangaroos 2.30
Kangas are 8 of 9 against Port, the only loss was in Adelaide in 2003, and the Kangas won by 92 in Melbourne last year as big dogs.
Kangaroos always take games seriously, and Port might just not be as hungry.
Kanga's definately worth a shot at these odds...Right PAWA?
