One early AFL play this week for people with an account at tattsbet.

Brisbane -41.5 at home to Carlton (1.85)

Considering they are as high as -48.5 in places, and infact 1.50 at Canbet to win by more than 40, this is tremendous value.

I did a double with Port Adelaide to win (1.25), to get combined odds of 2.31

Looks like a winner to me!

Adelaide +9.5 vs West Coast

Yep....Doin' it tough indeed!

Slightly down for the season to date, but to make it worse I seem to be getting all my big plays wrong :shrug:

eg. Last week had Kangaroos +32.5, but had 2 units on Adelaide

It's been that kind of year.

Be careful this week tho guys, 3 or 4 games will be decided by injuries, so team news tonight will be crucial!

I hate betting against Port Adelaide at Football Park but this line is just too appealing to leave alone.

Expect them to remain undefeated at home to an undermanned Crows outfit.

Essendon home by 12 tonight after, at one stage of the third quarter, leading by 55. Interesting stat that the Bombers have won just 2 final quarters so far this season!!! They just stopped while the Demons kept on running.

In other games I like the Geelong Half/Full time double v Richmond @ $2. The line being too short at $1.60 odd.

Will go and watch my Kangaroos against the evil Magpies on Saturday night but will have my dough on the Collingwood -8.5 line.

My Pawamech system has just one eligible selection this week.

Geelong and Collingwood both comfortably home.

Adding Sydney Under 39.5pts v Fremantle @ $2.30 . With Roos taking Eades position as head coach I expect that the Swans will "put in" and win this against a gritty Dockers outfit.

My plays are 1-3 so far this weekend.

I am still in disbelief that Hawthorn did not cover the spread. They were 33 points up in the final quarter and looked set to easily cover the -11.5 line. St Kilda kicked four late goals so the final winning margin was only 9 points.

That was a really tough loss to swallow.

There is one match still in progress and West Coast look set for a fairly comfortable victory.

AFL plays for the weekend went 4-1
Sydney let me down by hammering Fremantle by too much.
Season to date now 27-26

System went 1 from 1 to sit at 16-9 for the season so far.
Accounting errors meant I missed 2 of those winners but still satisfied with its progress.
Starting balance sits at 182.6%. Actual balance is less because of 2 missed wins. It is getting stronger and the second half of the season is where its performance should surge (historically!!)

Anyway...on to round 14.
