14-11' (+1.81)

Fremantle -11.5

Love this game, tempted to make it a 2 unit play.
Fremantle playing very well right now...obviously Essendon not so!
The Bombers 2 wins have come over Collingwood and Hawthorn, hardly impressive stuff, and they've been dominated in the rest.

Last year at the dome, Essendon won by 30 points...but a closer look shows that Freo dominated the midfield, going inside 50 62 times to Essendon's 50!! That is only going to get better with Carr and Black in the side now...The Freo forward line is working beautifully now with McPharlin, and who from Essendon can handle Pavlich?
Bradley out for Essendon this week hurts their flexability, and Hille was suspended in the reserves so their ruck stocks are at a bare minimum. (Laycock and likely Allan back).
The Bombers have scored over 88 only once this season (v. Carlton), and Freo have topped 103 in their last 3 and are flying.
Fremantle are better in every area (except clearances, where they're both crap!), and there's no reason why the Dockers won't run away with this one.

Oh, the Dockers have won 3 of their last 6 at the dome, inc the loss to Essendon and a 29 point loss to St. Kilda last year, which was more than respectable.

Geelong -26.5

Last years meeting at the dome, Geelong won by 57 points in a total domination. They had 41 shots to 19 and 65 inside 50's to 43!
Geelong have won their last 8 in the dome by an av. of 41.7, and only 2 of those wins have been by less than 29...last week v. a very strong St. Kilda and a 23 point win vb. Essendon last year as 2.50 underdogs!
Carlton's form has been ordinary, with small wins over Essendon and Hawthorn.
Geelong average 7 more inside 50's than their oppostion a game and have held them to 155 shots this season, second only to West Coast.
In contrast, Carlton have allowed 103+ in 6 of 7 games this season @ 112 ppg.
Could be another long game for the Blues.

Already jumped on the Geelong line C, though I was surprised to find -22.5 pts @ 365 last night. I'd expect that they cover both numbers.

Your pre-booked tickets for Saturday night are on what level mate? Plenty of seats in general public nless you payed more for some second level types.

Yep. Level 2 types! :(

Never sat on level 2...Thought I'd check it out for this game. Bloody marvellous time to experiment now, huh!...
..and what's even worse is that the day after I booked them, I find out that Dog members can get in for free (level 3) because it's a 'replacement' game for our Canberra game! :cursin:

Looks like a total stuff up on my part!

Bulldogs 2.06

Hopefully this won't be as big a stuff up as the arrangements!

The Kangaroos have got off to a deceptively good start to the season.
Scrapping wins over Carlton, Sydney, Collingwood and Hawthorn are certainly nothing to brag about, and one good quarter against a Riewoldt and Kositzke-less Saints.
Almost unbelievably, the Kangaroos are dead last in inside 50's this season! 312, 8 less than Hawthorn and 24 less than Sydney!
They have been strangling teams and relying on one good quarter to win the game.
Hard to see that working against the Bulldogs, who are 4th overall for inside 50's and have scored 107+ in 5 of 7 games.
In fact, the Kangaroos play a very similar game style to Adelaide, who the Bulldogs beat by 5 goals 3 weeks ago.
The Bulldogs have won 3 of the last 4 meetings, all as underdogs, and have averaged 135 in those games!
The Dogs will score, and with their defense improving every game, it's tough to see the Kanga's keeping up.

(I hope!)

Well...someone's gotta bite the bullet.....

Richmond -26.5

The Tigers have baten up all the bad teams they've played this year...and Collingwood are as bad as it gets.
They've allowed a league high 402 inside 50's for the season, and allowed the most shots at goal.
Richo, Stafford, Simmons, Knobel...pretty sure things get ugly again this week.
Richmond have so much more firepower and a lot more pace in the middle.
I might just live to regret this, but GO TIGES!!

Three plays for me this weekend:

Wstn Bulldogs +3.5 vs Kangaroos (3 units)
Port Adelaide $1.95 vs Sydney (2 units)
Fremantle -11.5 vs Essendon

Loving the Wstn Bulldogs this week for all the reasons MrChristo has mentioned above - whilst the Kangaroos are certainly a gutsy side they have only won 11 out of 28 quarters this year and in many ways are lucky to be in 5th spot.

Yeah...let's hook into my Roos guys!! Thanx you bastards!!

Nahh. Look...I said this weeks ago. We are the worst team to have ever sat at 5 and zip. Now our true colours are starting to show and we have begun our descent down the ladder.

I'm all over the Bullies. I reckon my Roos will get "towelled up". :chairshot

It's been a tough season Kick, even for us 'AFL veterans'!!

Favourites are only winning at 54.8% so far and the ladder/table is looking very different to recent seasons.

It's been a tough gig.

LMAO!

I jumped on the tigers line 15 mins before the start when I heard Tarrant was out and then I cursed my choice at 3/4 time when we were staring down the barrel.

Thank god for Brown's last quarter eh Christo?!! :mj14:
