Not totally convinced of freo yet but like the idea of getting 5 goals when they play port this weekend. Will be a huge test for them and port are extremely good at home but freo are playing well at the moment so am thinking about jumping on the bandwagon for the week. Anyone else like this game?
Also like the pies giving 14.5, geelong -4.5 and possibly brisbane to tear the saints apart giving four and a half goals. Any thoughts?

First off, just wanted to say that i've made some decent money following the AFL this year, and i enjoy the comments and tips..:)

This week I like Swans(-6) as the pick of the week. I also like the Kangeroos(pk) and Geelong and dare I say the Hawks(+18) I have a feeling they might win OUTRIGHT:eek:

Good luck, eh?:canada1

Cannon, don't know how much footy you are able to see over there but if you have seen the hawks over the past month you would not be picking them to beat the crows outright. Would be a massive upset if that is to occur but good luck on it anyway mate!

Bomber....

Bomber....

..that was my original reaction to Freo too mate, but the more I think the more I lean (and actually like) Port.

Port are very good at home (as we all know!), but the teams that seem to trouble them are the teams that play tight, tough, accountable footy.
I'm a big Freo fan this year, but the reason they are running up big scores (esp. at home) is that they run forward bigtime!
Against Port, who can control the play around the stoppages and keep possession around the ground, I think they will really hurt the Dockers.

Just plowing through the teams now....Anyone for some HotDogs +41.5 :D

Can't say I'm all that hungry right now Mr C but there won't be too many other occasions this year where that many points are up for grabs. Are you having a stab yourself mate?

Sydney have not beaten Essendon since '98. Last 6 times. I kind of fancy their chances myself but that history puts me off them. And which carriage are you in with those picks anyway?!!!!

Christo
I'll be taking some hotdogs +big points.......you know I like those stats!! :D 1/1 in last weeks 2, 3 from 4 for the season. Your guys are bound to win sooner or later!!!
:D

I'm with Christo on the Port Power bandwagon.

Looks to me to be another tight, shitty old betting week!

Careful about placing bets too early before game time guys because there is some nasty weather forecast about the place! (Except bloody Perth where I needed it the most!! )

As much as I really wanted to, I can't take my Woofers. We allow the most inside 50's by a fair margain and West Coast have the most efficient forward line going around.....Really could get very messy.

I mean REALLY ......They just beat Richmond by 51....and they have a backline!!!!

Sure will be hoping they can keep it close tho, mate

Agree with Sydney too.....Like the Swans chances....will wait for game time, and any sign of rain/wet ground.. BAM!
(Realistically tho, 1.70 is a crap price given recent history.)

Seems like all the early $ is on freo and sydney. The more the line deteriorates in the freo game, the more I am starting to like the other side also. Initial reaction was freo but the more I think about it I like the home side, especially considering cornes and hardwick's return. Only giving 4 goals in some books which isn't bad. Like the swans to break the bomber drought this week. Still no hird, fletch or misiti doesn't help the dons chances. Can get a win without the first two every now and again but two on the trot will be tough, especially interstate IMO. Would like to be wrong though. Pawa, looking forward to the next selection mate!
Roos starting to get on top as I write this. Up by 8!

Good call on the hawks cannon. Even though the crows haven't been at their best either it is still a fair upset so nice call mate. Pawa, I bet that roos game was great to watch live last night mate. Couldn't think of a more fitting result than the tigers losing by under a goal.

Remainding plays: Geelong -4.5
Collingwood -14.5
