Hi Guys,

I have decided to spend more time capping and less time doing write-ups from now on. This will hopefully produce more winners in the longrun. Here is who I like this weekend:

Saturday: Hawthorn +9.5 vs Richmond (with Sportodds)
Sunday: Collingwood -15.5 vs Geelong (with DAS)
Sunday: Carlton -19.5 vs Sydney (with Centrebet)

Er, slight problem TV...

The odds aren't -120, -145 etc....they're $1.20 return for your $, which equates to -500

We'd all like to get the Bombers at -120

but the books would go broke

The odds for the four games you've picked are:

...which equates to some serious chalk.

Cacti still look great - tad colder here than it is in Arizona at present. That protuberance in the front yard must be wilting in that heat

Glad to hear that the cacti are doing well.

It has been hot as hell for the past several weeks. We had a big thunderstorm day before yesterday that seemed to cool things down a bit.

But......... prior to that we have been having 116 degree days here. Wife and I got in the truck to go to lunch last Monday and the inside temp read 130 degrees. YIKES!

Yes... you kiwis and aussies are in winter now while we in Arizona are roasting. Well.. at least I still can have a ball during the winter when my northern friends are shoveling snow and we have 70 degree weather!

Nothing it seems comes with out a price. Our summers are the price we pay for one of the mildest sunniest winters in the world.

Hope to see some of ya'll at the superbowl party.

Started nicely with Hawthorn not only covering the +9.5 spread but winning impressively against Richmond. Unfortunately Collingwood and Carlton both played well below their best today (they are making a habit of that when I back them) and I ended up 1-2 for the weekend.

Good effort from Gloveski who went 3-0 and also pleasing to see some posts from our US and Canadian friends !!
