Good to have footy back this weekend and should be some good games to look forward to.
Taking; St Kilda x 1 unit
Melbourne x 1 unit
West coast x 1 unit
Looking forward to the big game on friday night paw. I'll try and contain my excitement as Lloyd takes a few specky's in the square! :)

Wassup, bomber...You beat me to it again!

Being a bit concervative this week....Is some funny weather being forecast...wind and rain, may play havok with some spreads.

Collingwood/Brisbane/Sydney/Freo -5.5 @ 4.13

Will wait until closer to game time to play some h'caps. (Like Sydney and Melbourne to cover if the weather is ok.)

Also might have a dabble at some high/low scores for the w'end at some BIG odds.

FWIW, Freo are the certainty of the week. The reason they don't win on the road all that often is they have trouble scoring....Freo...meet the Bulldogs!
Dogs have won one game at the Dome in 15 tries....allowing an av of 124 ppg in their last 20...and 139 in their last 5!! :scared ...in fact they have allowed 144+ in 6 of their last 11 games there!! Now with Harris out (possibly our ONLY accountable defender!!) things will get nasty. Freo kicked 155 points and won by 83 in Rd. 7 last season...God, hopefully it won't be that painful, but no reason why it won't be! :cursin:

Bombercoops....

When you hit Melbourne and want to kill some time before our game, go down to Crown Casino and take a look around. Theres plenty of things to keep you occupied along the river on Friday. I'll call you during the day.

Get ready for your Bombers to get a pumpin' from my rampaging ROOS!!!!

:yup

Pawa, roos pumping the dons???? Have you started drinking already mate? Can't wait for game time!
Christo, sorry to beat you to it mate. Had a feeling you must have been close to starting the thread for the week. Hopefully some good things will come of this week as they are certainly over due, in my case anyway!

Yep, bomber....hopefully will be a good week....but you've put yourself under the pump early mate!!
Geelong/West Coast really could go either way (although nice to get the Eagles as home dogs)...and tbh, I actually think Port will knock St. Kilda off.
We saw the other week how poorly the Saints have been outdoors this season...I can tell you it has been raining hard all week here in Tassie, and things don't look like improving.
Port beat the Saints by 42 down here last year (admittedly as big favs), now with Kositzke out, Port with the backline to keep Gehrig quiet....Like the Power...although no real value in backing either team, imo.
But good luck!!...Won't be going along for a look. Besides the predicted bad weather, I am a bit of a sicko, and as such will be sitting at home watching the Bulldogs get pumped!

Should be a great game tomorrow night.....We want a good clean fight, and for both members to be able to post freely in the following weeks!! :142lmao:

Yep, PAWA. Will be tipping Port, but still don't think I can put any $$ on them.
How's this for an IN-list from last year....Hudghton, penny, Dal Santo, Hamill, Guerra, Knobel and Ball!! :scared
mind you, I reckon this year's Port team is stronger than last year too!...Should be a cracker!

No way I could take Carlton with Fevola out. Sydney won by 31 last year @ Carlton and Fevola kicked 6.....Here's a good stat for you too...Every game Fevola has kicked 5 or more goals this year they have won....Every game he has kicked less than 5 goals, they have lost!
Got Sydney in my multi....and if the weatther is ok at game time (wind and showers forecast) will be all over Sydney -

BUT....I think you might have convinced me on the Roos! (Sorry bomber!). My stats say it will be VERY close, with a slight edge even to the Roo's.
Kanga's won by 8 last year at the Dome....but Hird didn't play.
The only thing scaring me is the 27 point loss to Collingwood in round 10 @ the dome. Kanga's were very poor that night...maybe that is couding my judgement.

Very close to playing the Roos! ;)

Ha, find it funny that you liked the roos yesterday and then proceeded to take the dons under 39.5 pawa. What's up with this?? No faith in your own team or respect for the dons? Wish you could join us christo!

Yep....half an hour until kick-off and I kinda wish I could be there...Should be a cracking game...Nothing better than a big packed Dome.

BIG plunge on the Kanga's PAWA.....Into +13.5 now!! Makes me feel batter having the +17.5!

Fine/sunny day forecast for tomorrow....still woried about some wind tho.

But....tonight first! Go Kanga's!

Great game last night until the final quarter when the wheels came off. Pawa, thanks for a solid night out mate and I hope the Mrs. wasn't too upset with ya when you got home mate!
Eliminating my saints play for today as you guys have got me convinced that it will go the other way. Staying away from it. Other two plays stand though- not that it means much considering my recent run!
Sheedy's boys should be shot for their final quarter last night :firing:

I don't know how it happened......but the ROOS just kept hangin' in all night and ended up rolling over the top of a Bombers outfit that just stopped in the last quarter. Coops wasn't to happy!!
We had some ripper seats in front of the Essendon coaches box and I gave em a bit of a serve when the final siren went. I also had to restrain bombercoops from jumping of the second level into the crowd below!!! We finished up by losing the car in the underground carpark and then had a few beers at a pub near by. A top bloke is bombercoops. Sorry he travelled all this way to see his team fold up like wet cardboard box in the rain during that last quarter!!! :tongue

The good news is that the system actually called it and is showing signs of coming up for air!!! Unfortunately I am now only using it in an 'advisory capacity' as far as my betting goes.
Roos were also a 'strong play' taking that tally to 15-8. Three more fit the bill for this round....Carlton, Collingwood and Melbourne.

But things were fine by the morning!! :brows:

Glad to see you both made it through the night in one piece!! :142lmao:

Very windy (quote: 'strange wind') @ Carlton, no Sydney play for me....pretty sure they will still get up, but not messing with the spread.

Big day on the couch flicking b/w footy games and the cricket.....Got a feeling I won't be the only one having a quiet day ;)

Yep, that jump from the second tier of the grandstand was not too far away. I think the highlight was the chat I had with Mercuri when we first entered the ground. At least i can take something away from the night. Good to see you left the Mrs. alone paw as she probably wouldn't have reacted to the tap on the shoulder with much of a smile! You're an absolute champ though mate and i look forward to doing it all over again in the near future. By the way, full credit on the seats mate! Couldn't have been any better. As far as the dons being owned, well, there's not much i can say to that one except, yep! By the way, my voice is officially gone and I controlled my emotions pretty well at the game last night I thought paw! Feels great being a mute!
