Geez, the season goes way too quickly! Round 15 already! Anyway, interesting to see that the pies are slight fav's over Geelong on Friday night. I think the books are trying to get a few people to jump on the cats with this line, even though it would be a close line if the favouritism was the other way. However, the cats have been playing solid footy for a couple of months now, but the pies reckon they are still a sniff for september, and for that to occur, clearly need to win this one for any chance. Leaning on the pies at this stage and interested to see what the system says on this one pawa. Also, this will be the last time I do it for a while, but if the dons can't turn it around against the tigers this week than they never will. Playing them minus the points(15.5) to hit back with some kind of form and cover the margin. also, tempted on the dogs at 53.5 as it is so many points. Any help here christo?? They did it last year when I was on them, can they do it again?? Jumped on the dees yesterday at $1.80 also. All the money coming in on the dees as some of you guys mentioned and this will yet again be an evaluation game in terms of seeing where the saints are at.

the land of confusion
Geelong versus Collingwood is a tough one to call bomber. Collingwood went as close as you can get to qualifying for being a 'strong play' (16 - 9), but not quite there. West Coast, Adelaide and my Kangaroos are the only three that qualified.
My Roos are the only system play for this week getting +17 odd versus Fremantle. I'm not confident.....but then again I wasn't last week either, and we remember how that game ended.....don't we bomber?!! :moon: :142lmao:

I think that the two standout games are Adelaide getting points in Sydney and Melbourne giving a few to the Saints (playing outside at the MCG...where the Demon's record there is as impressive as the Saint's isn't!!). This is just about the 'play of the year' if history continues. :firing:

I'd expect that Essendon might crack it for a win too bomber........just remember that your only playing the Tigers though!!! :poke

Pretty hard to pick a winner on Friday night, guys.

Taken UNDER 191.5 @ 1.65....2 strong defences, think it's the best play on the board! ;)

Also played Adelaide +18.5. Happy to see you (and the system) liking it PAWA.

Originally like the Roos, but history not good....Got flogged last year, and Feo have a better team this time around...hell, they even beat you on the MCG last year!

Multi: Essendon (amazing odds!!!!!)/Melbourne/Brisbane/Port @ 2.92 (Pinnacle)

I got a lucky break on the Doggies game, bomber. Got -42.5 for Brissy and +53.5 for Dogs! :p.....pretty sure it wil be around that mark somewhere...seriously wouldn't mess with the spread on this one. History suggests Brisbane by 40ish...but we have no backline!! Brisbane could kick a million!! :cursin:

33-27 (+8.34) for the season.

Adelaide +18.5

Surprisingly, despite Adelaide's poor record, they average over 6 Inside 50's per game than Sydney!! They are also better at clearances than the Swans.
Even in the home/away stats, I show Sydney only able to give 15 points at the most.
Sydney have won only 5 of their last 20 games by more than 14 points.
Also Adelaide have a great head to head record v. Sydney....winning their last 4 meetings, inc. 2 at the SCG.

Collingwood/Geelong UNDER 191.5 (1.65)

Total way too high, based on Collingwood's free scoring last week v. a terrible Hawthorn side.
Collingwood have only topped 100 points twice this year...v. Hawthorn and Bulldogs!!
Geelong have only allowed 100+ twice (not counting the first 2 rounds when they were extremely undermanned.)...both away games (@ Freo and @ Port.)
Last years game at the Dome totalled 170......In that game Rocca kicked 5 goals, BUT Harley was out of the side for Geelong.....also coming IN from that game are Clement and Prestigiacomo for Collingwood, so I'm expecting both teams to struggle to score in this game.

Essendon are TERRIFIC odds @ 1.47

Essendon have won 13 of the last 16 meetings...inc. last year by 39 points.

Yes, they have lost 3 straight, but to Brisbane, Melbourne and the Kangaroos...all significantly better than Richmond. Forget Richmond's effort last week @ Brisbane....we know Brisbane play to the level of their opposition.
Richmond are terrible....they have the least amount of Inside 50's in the AFL, and have kicked only 159 goals this year, equal worst with Hawthorn.
People seem to be worried that with Fletcher out, Richo might have a big game, but Fletcher has been poor all season....Also Stafford out for Richmond more than balances that out.

Melbourne @ 1.67!

Again, Melbourne have a great record v. St. Kilda, winning their last 6 games...inc. last year by 42 points as 2.20 underdogs.
But, the real kicker is the MCG. Melbourne have won 8 straight @ the 'G...and we know by now of St. Kilda's poor 'outside' form.
They have won only 2 of their last 12 @ the MCG...both v. Hawthorn!! In 5 outdoor games this season they have 2 wins (unconvincing v. Adelaide and Freo), and 3 losses to Sydney the Bulldogs and Port.
Now, with Gehrig and Guerra out goals will be hard to come by. Also Kositszke out and McGuire still doubtful puts a big hole in their defense too.

I should have jumped aboard @ 1.80, but was keen to see what happened at the tribunal.

Port and Brisbane are pretty self explainatory.

2 x Essendon/Brisbane/Port/Melbourne @ 2.92

I like the under too for tonight's game christo now that you have pointed it out! I think you're on to a good thing here. Still leaning on the pies but will wait till game time or thereabouts to make a decision.
Yep, the dons are only playing the tigers pawa but after last weeks loss to the roos of all teams :poke , they have definitely found themselves in a large hole. Wouldn't be at all surpirised if they were pushed in this one. But, I'm puting one more week of faith in them and will hope they can cross the line for me. I think it was about this time last year when you gave me a stab about where my boys were sitting on the ladder paw. Any comments this time round will be more than welcomed mate?? :moon: :142lmao:
Nice gap in your dogs/bris spreads christo. Hope you can split it down the middle!

Adelaide Australia
Record to Date: 28-22 for +3.2 Units

Just missed last night by a few minutes getting a bet on Geelong and of course that meant they were nearly guaranteed to win then.

Round 15 Play
Essendon -16.5 d Richmond (2 Units)

Nice hit with Essendon, beast.

VERY late, I know, but just taken the Kanga's +16.5 @ 2.02

Carr out of Freo side!!....Big hole for them.

Very low scoring game in Sydney....hopefully it stays nice and tight.

Come on PAWA...get these Roo's up tonight, mate!!

Nice job with the roos guys! Wish I had of been on them with you. Great game to watch and the better side (late in the game at least) definitely won the game. Pawa, I'm sure you are struggling to contain yourself at the minute! Rocca has looked great out there in recent times and the hunger and confidence of the younger players is starting to really gel by the look of things. Good win.
Nice to see the dons show up in the second half and run out a game for a change. Hoping this can carry on to next week in the West.

Yep...great job by the Roo's, especially after allowing 11-0 inside 50's in the first 10 minutes!!!!
Also great job by the Crows to never give up...They struggled up forward all nite, but fought on wel to kick the last 3 goals...inc. Welsh's GREAT goal with about 20 seconds left to get the cover!

Coll/Gelong was a predictably low scoring slug-fest.

3-0 (+2.57) going into Sunday....Need all 3 fav's to get up for a good w'end.

Let's nail tomorrow gang!

Sounds good christo! By the way, not sure if anyone had it, but didn't Everitt's kick after the siren in the hawks game get them the cover? Would have pierced the hearts of some punters out there I'm sure!

ha! YES!! Forgot to mention that, bomber!!
Sat herre watching, laughing about that myself!....Said to the GF that with 4 seconds left and Spider took a mark 30 out that this would be a 'heart breaking' kick, one way or the other!!
Would have been EXTREMELY tough to take, considering WC were 22 up with 4 minutes to go and Hawthorn had kicked 9 goals for the whole match!!
It was even that big middle bit where WC were -7.5 early in the week and -9.5 late...so even the accuracy of the kick concerned some people!!....Ahhh....The business we are in!!....Very happy I had no part of it!

GO MELBOURNE!

Just got back from a BIG night out watching my Roos come home with a wet sail against the Dockers at the 'House of Pain'. Rocca killed 'em and we displace Freo in the 8 with the gutsy win. Yeah Christo....after that first 10 minutes or so I thought we were in big trouble!!Shinboner spirit is what it's called!!!! My guys do give you value for your dollar that's for sure.

2 from 3 'strong plays' with the 3 of them covering the spread to go 18-10 (19-9ATS). There is something in this new way of looking at my numbers. :spotting:

My Roos give the 'express method' a 5-0 winning run after such a shocking start to the season. Still plenty in the hole though!!

Melbourne over the Saints tomorrow could make this the biggest round this year after the low scoring Friday nighter (cheers Christo!), Essendons destruction of the Tigers and the rest of the covers.

Come on you Demons!! :brows:

Won't be around later, but am quite prepared to call the Melbourne and Port games!!

4-0' (+5.91) for me for the weekend...Makes 37-27' (14.25) for the season.

Looks like everyone had a great weekend...Great work boys!

Lets hope we can keep it rolling on for the rest of the season..... ;)

Oh...and missing the Doggies/Brisbane total by 1' points is just plain nasty!! Brown 3.5! :(
