the land of confusion
Season to date 31-26

Round 15 kicks off Friday night with Hawthorn v Western Bulldogs at Colonial Stadium. Last meeting (round 20 2001) it was the Doggies by plenty at a time when the Hawks were top four and soaring while the Doggies not even a part of the top eight. Now Hawthorn is struggling in tenth position while the Doggies are charging towards some finals action after a slow 0-5 start to the season. Western Bulldogs have the best line record (9 from 13 @ 69%) this season while Hawthorn are second last (4 from 13 @ 31%). I'll be making a confident play on the Western Bulldogs -10.5 line and/or suggest a play on the Doggies Under 39.5 @ $2.20 ;)

Bad news for Adelaide backers with Kane Johnson added to the list of outs.
Also Stenglein and McLeod out, but they were not named.

Tarrant is DEFINATELY out for Collingwood and Nick Davis less than 50/50 after leaving training early.

Good luck with the Doggies!

No bet for me tonight, but will be screaming my lungs out as always ;)

WOOF WOOF!!!!!

Not a good start to the round with Hawthorn rolling the Bullies by 23 points. Doggies seemed in control for the first two and a half quarters and even threatened to blew it out at one stage of the second after leading by 30 odd. Hawks claw their way back to be down by 9 at the last break. Then proceeded to run amok (as I choked on my chips! ) in the last as the Dogs ran out of legs.
MrC...I hope you got that Johnson goal on tape straight after half time!!! Freakin' unbelievable...

But lets keep our chin up, as the round has more to offer yet ;)

My Kangaroos -24.5 v Fremantle is enticing as the Dockers have yet to register an away win this season. Add to this the Roos 4 from 5 record up in Canberra and their 7 from 8 victorys against Fremantle since they entered the league. Croad is also out for Freo and will be missed. The score could even get ugly me feels!!! GET ON

Now my next play may be mocked by a few of you, but I have a feeling that Richmond +30.5 v Brisbane is worth the risk. Can't find anything to justify it. Just feel that they are due to put in a good one and we have seen the Lions stumble abit as of late. I do expect the Tigers to fall short but go down fighting.

On Sunday I'll have the West Coast Eagles +10.5 v Essendon . Purely because of the Eagles unbeaten run at home this season and therefore getting some points in is too inviting!

Also considering Sydney with the +25.5 on offer v the all conquering Port Power. Perhaps the Swans can confine the Port running game on the smaller S.C.G....just a thought!!

My Pawamech system has found no eligible teams for selection this week.

Good luck fellas

Shit hey!

Kanga's were behind ALL day until the 15 minute mark of last quarter.
Freo had the ball for the last 5 minutes but couldn't score....very strange game.

I had Kanga' -23 too :(

PAWAQATSI (Still struggle to type that!)....Brisbane get Voss back this week, and word from Melbourne last week and Carlton before that was Brisbane were lacking leadership more than anything.
I considered a play on Richmond all week. Brisbane haven't beaten them in Melbourne since '96, but the Voss factor scared me.
Hope they get up for you ;)

As I type Geelong have kicked the first 3 of the last quarter to be up by 28 :p
I think my +22' is safe ;)

Buckley reported too, for (get this!)....wiping blood on an opponent!!!
Strange one, but could well cost him 4 or 5 weeks

Considering a play on St.Kilda +, but I think the line is about right....Would've liked to get +33ish...not gunna happen.

A couple of 'specials' at Centrebet.....Andrew Thompson is 1.90 to get more possessions than Kane Johnson.....Shouldn't be too difficult since Kane Johnson isn't playing!!!
Whether they pay or not is a different matter

Port Adelaide 1.53 to get more team possessions than Sydney.
Port ranked 1st, Sydney 14th.

Good luck for the rest of the weekend.

0-3 in what is a disasterous weekend so far. I was at the Adelaide game and they were clearly the better team and should have probably won by 10 goals but they got up by 7 in the last quarter and St Kilda needed to score 3 goals in the last 10 minutes to cover so I started to think I was going to win this but no. St Kilda pile on 4 in the last 10 minutes to make the final margin 18. I was happy my team won but very disappointed in the ending

Have decided my final play is to increase the melbourne play to 2 units as I think this a better play than the West Coast Play

Melbourne -14.5 d Carlton (2 Units)
